“Basic, noisy and clean.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014 via mobile

Basic, noisy and clean. Very thin walls. Free parking. Remote place at the corner of the city centre. Friendly staff. Don't expect too much from the breakfast. BB rooms looked nice though. Think they were renewed a short time ago.

We (4 adults) recently stayed at this hotel for 3 days....we found it very clean and the staff very helpful....A continental breakfast is included and some real perks were the availability of dishes, cutlery and barbecues for preparing meals in your room.....shopping, grocery stores, etc.,were within walking distance....this is not a high end motel but very clean and has everything you need when travelling...our group was visiting the National Parks and found this hotel great as our home base...we would recommend this hotel and come back....

Room Tip: Great, clean hotel as a base with cooking facilities....will be back

My ratings are based on value for dollar spent, this motel provided exactly what they said for $50.00. For that reason I rate them 5 stars. I stayed in the loge (their spelling), it was approximately a 10 foot by 10 foot room with a comfortable double bed. The room was immaculately clean, I suspect it was just remodeled as the laminate flooring and linoleum looked brand new. In that small space they efficiently placed a fridge, microwave, TV, chair, small chest of drawers. There was free WIFI. The bathroom only had a shower, no tub. The gentleman at the check in was very pleasant and helpful. It was excellent value for $50.00. As a single traveler I will stay there again when I visit Waterton (which is about 30 minutes away).

Very friendly gal at check in. The outside is that of a 60's motel. The rooms have different configurations. Mine was a double with kitchenette. Everything was clean, but the furnishings are really dated. The location is right on the way to Waterton Lakes NP. And you certainly can't beat the price.

I will admit I was a little leery when we pulled in to Parkway Motel and there were NO other vehicles there...and it was late evening. I took that as a bad sign.

We decided to take a chance and I'm glad we did. This motel is privately owned and the lady that checked us in was very friendly. We were upgraded to a kitchenette for no extra charge - no idea why but I appreciate it. :)

This motel is pet friendly which is a bonus for me.

I think they might be new owners - the room looked like it had just been renovated. Beautiful new laminate flooring, new ceramic tile in the bathroom, new fixtures, new bedding and curtains. It was as cute as a button. Our room was decorated in brown and dark green with stylish furnishings. The outside of the motel is lovely too. Lots of flowers and rocks - nice effort to be pleasant.

The mattress and pillows were great and we slept like rocks.

The breakfast is through a door and down some stairs in the basement. This was a little weird and there was a very limited selection for food. Cereal and toast. Very basic.

I would stay here again with no hesitation. :)

The motel room are old. The carpet in my room was stained. I was scared to walk on it with bare feet. The continental breakfast is the worst I have ever seen. Having said all that you get what you pay for. If you just need a place to sleep and you are going somewhere else for the day (i.e. - Waterton National Park) it is ok. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room. Don't stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Parkway Motel, also called Loges. Perhaps to mean Lodge? Room was OK.I have never seen so many weeds in front of any motel. Second night we had to ask for towels. All gone, including ones, that were left on the rack. Rates were reasonable. Breakfast not much choice. No sweetener available. Only sugar. Breaker might jump, when toaster is turned on.
