“50th Anniversary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We recently held our 50th wedding anniversary celebration there. From the time the planning was started, we were treated with respect and friendliness. The staff was there to give suggestions, and do what we wished. They were there to help! All the rooms(meeting and sleeping) were neat and clean. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful celebration!

Room Tip: All the ones I saw were good.

Pros:
Booked online thru their own booking agent, it was cheaper by $20-$25 for the area of equal hotels.
Very nice breakfast area and included breakfast.
The bar is open from 18:00 till midnight for a nite cap or too, area priced.
This place has some nice features not often seen, ie: under the bar purse hooks at the sit up bar for the ladies. Nifty idea.
Relatively close to shopping, restaurants and other amenities.

Cons:
Management needs to be more on their game for customer friendliness, professionalism, dress code and they shouldn't be on the computers in the business area, looks a bit tacky for the management to be using them instead of the guests.
Staff could also use a course on competitive presentation in a town with so many new hotels.
Fans in the bathroom are not switchable and being loud they can wake the rest up in the morning, fans should be switched independent of the bathroom light.
No sliding windows so there is no outside air or breeze available.
Sliding shower door was in need of attention, thus my Leathermans tool took care of it but I am amazed that in MOST hotels it seems the management expects the cleaning ladies to pick up on these deficiencies and fix them, well they do not and its clearly time the owners or managers get a professional in to point out what needs to be tweaked and fixed. I have even had a owner reply to a review that he relies on the customer to point out the problems so that he can get them fixed, WRONG THATS DEAD WRONG, a hotel needs to be on their game not the customer.....

All said and done, yes we will stay here again.
Please review it helps us all.

Room Tip: 2nd level or higher and at the back its quiet and the lighting is acceptable in the parking lot.

The hotel itself was really new and clean. However, the customer service at this particular Four Points was lacking. I stayed here back in May and when we first got there to check in the two ladies at the front seemed to be arguing. During our check in another visitor came down saying the room number they gave him cards too already had people in it. (Eek!) The ladies then argued for 5 minutes before giving the poor man a new room assignment. We were given the keys to our room and hoped no one else had as well. The room was nice and was pretty clean although I did notice a couple things in the room that could have had a better cleaning. (Was up to par for a 3 star hotel though.) We filled out the breakfast call card and hung it on the door (hours before the cut off time) but was surprised to wake up to no breakfast and it was still hanging on the door. I didn't even want an explanation so we went somewhere else for breakfast. Lastly as I was checking out we walked by the front desk and both the ladies from the previous day and another man (looked like a manager) were all chatting and didn't say a thing to us.

I have stayed at this hotel for business four times now, and it is a very nice, new, clean hotel. The staff has been friendly every time. The rooms are nice and good size, beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice and big, there is no having to "squeeze" into the bathroom. However, as great as these things are, the hotel has missed perfection on each and every trip.

These are going to sound like nit-picking, but each time it has kept me from coming on here and give a glowing report. The issues are minor, but still stick out and are as follows: shower door wouldn't close completely and couldn't get it to stay, there was water all over the floor, and I don't take long showers, another time I went to get a tissue (I do like that there is a separate box on the bathroom vanity top), but a previous user had apparently got too much water on the counter top and every tissue was soaked, bathroom garbage wasn't emptied from previous user and twice now, one of the soap dispensers was out of product and wasn't refilled. Yes I could take my own in, but I don't mind their product and I don't want to get out of the shower at that point.

Room Tip: Rooms face either North or South. North rooms face the city, but neither side really stands out for...

Had a great weekend getaway here. Very spacious king suite. Very clean. Well laid out with practical and minimal amounts of furniture. Was nice to see a quite PTAC in a room. Large bathroom with a shower(was nice to see instead of the usual bath) was big enough for both of us to complete our bathroom routines at the same time without fighting over counter space or mirror space. In room safe was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I recently had a wonderful stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and the hotel features were explained to us. Our room was comfortable, fresh and clean. Attention to detail was appreciated. All the staff were pleasant and courteous. On our 1st evening as an option we took advantage of ordering supper in from Ruby Tuesdays which we enjoyed. We also had a meal from the bar in the hotel which was great. During our stay we had the complimentary breakfast 2 mornings and ordered off the menu another. We had planned a 2 night stay but felt so welcomed and relaxed we stayed a 3rd night. We did not use the pool, hot tub or fitness facility on this visit but fully intend to do so when we return for another stay in the near future.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 2nd floor on the north side. We were not aware of any road noise.

It was indeed a pleasure to stay at the new Four Points By Sheraton in Minot! We were greeted on arrival with a gracious smile from Amy and full "instructions" on the property. "Mr David" was pleased to explain all the options that are being offered for dining and certainly the breakfast should please even the pickiest! The fact that there is a little "wind down" lounge was an added plus; a great spot for a nightcap. You could even use the wifi to stay in touch with work. Travel is my profession so a place that feels like "home away from home" gets 5*! A quiet, clean and comfortable hotel that is certain to get several visits...and our coach will be staying in Oct! Thank you
