Being new to the area I didn't think of making a reservation for a Tuesday 7 PM walk in for two. Staff was accommodating and made you feel you were still welcome. We had a short wait for seating for 2 at a counter opening with a view of the kitchen staff preparing everything. As far as I was concerned it was the best seating in the restaurant. My colleague and I ordered crab cakes, excellent; pheasant strips, flavorful but very chewy; and calamari, also excellent. For dinner, he had bison tenderloin, excellent, I had elk steak, awsome flavor but tough, even difficult to cut, and cooked medium as opposed to medium rare, just took it home and ate it with my hands. Feel free to order anything, everything that we saw them cook looked great. and they were extremely safe with food hadling. The grilled shrimp looked phenominal, but be cautious of the game items such as elk and pheasant.
