Stopped for a quick biz lunch at 1pm. There are two sides to the pub with separate doors for each, but they are connected via a small corridor where the restrooms are located. We accidentally walked into the smoking entrance, but rapidly found our way to the other side.
Tried the Irish stew, which was like a thick beef stew. Yummy! It was accompanied by fresh out of the oven Guiness bread, which is very dense and flavored with caraway and a hint of anise. I also tried the deep fried gizzards basket with their homemade potato chips. Never had whole gizzards before. They are chewy and good, with a delicious crispy breading. The chips were thick cut and nicely salted on par with the best kettle chips. The cheeseburger soup was good, but the potatoes overshadowed the beef in it.
Service was prompt, and place was fairly quiet, probably because of the time of day. Definitely consider for lunch.
