“Right place for small children and older people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

It is a nice place for families with small children: closed park area, no traffic, the hotel is practically on the beach. The beach is sandy, large and with shallow water, appropriate for small children. Clean middle-sized hotel rooms with balconies.
I share the critique for the food – it is eatable, but rather basic and the choice is too limited.
In conclusion - calm and relaxing atmosphere for good vacation (though it may be too calm for young people).

Room Tip: Choose sea view room

Accommodation nice, always clean, close to the sea but what really damaged my spent time was the food, it was more then ugly, almost not eatable and still the same, even for lunch and dinner... It is totally without taste, vegetable is never fresh as well as the fruit (just plumbs, apples and grapes). No fish, just once, but was so awful that I even could not swallow it! I would recommend to eat outside and not to pay for all inclusive in the hotel.

food was terrible... selection very limited... I ate bread and raw veggies all week.....go here if you want to lose weight! there were stray dogs walking around the premises and even getting into the pool...which was very dirty... the entertainment was also awful....seriously I would never go there again. Reminded me of the soviet era!

The advantages of the hotel were many. The location was great - only 30 m from the beach. Each morning we were woken by the splash of the waves which was absolutely great. The resort was clean and there were lots of trees and gardens. It was closed for cars. The rooms were also clean - sheets were changed every day. In two words - wonderful place.

The reason for my average rating was the food. It was really aweful. You cannot find such food even if you are looking for the cheapest one on the market. There weren't any restaurants in the resort, except for the one in the 5-star Palace Hotel, so we had to eat outside. This way the price for the holiday became lots higher than expected. I really couldn't find a reasonable explanation for the quality of the food. It was an offence for such a wonderful place as well as for its guests.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the beach have a great view, which is even better when the floor is higher. There i...

Sunny Day is located about 10 km north of Varna and 8 km south of Golden
Sands resort, near the resort St. Constantine and Elena, is tiny by area
(150 km ²) but sufficiently large beach. Mirage Hotel is 4 star hotel with
all inclusive best, ideal for holidays for couples and families with
children, located 30 meters from the beach.
Standard room is large, there can be no problems 2 adults and 1 child, with
two large beds, an armchair, large balcony with dryer, bath or shower, air
conditioning, satellite TV, telephone.
Other features of the hotel: restaurant, bar, outdoor pool and children's
pool, the common law Veronica Hotel, umbrella and chair free pool, free
beach umbrella, deck chair is a fee, fee pool, water sports fee, instead of
playground, Wi Fi in the lobby bar.
For those arriving by car pesonal a great asset is the two car parks,
guarded non-stop, free and positioned far enough away from the hotel,
transfer of parking and hotel resort being made by bus. Access in line with
the car is allowed only for clients, as well as buses that connect Varna
airport, so you can walk quietly through the resort, especially behind the
hotels is a park of cypress trees, oaks, pines and firs.
The restaurant is great, good cuisine, Swedish buffet, where you choose what
to eat, even for younger children, food varies depending on nationality
share of tourists, especially Germans or Russians.
Room cleaning is done every day, towels are changed daily to the bathroom,
bed linen changed every 3 days and a good sense cameristelele are
exceptional.
Otherwise, the resort is quiet, with no possibilities for fun, except
mini-shows organized by animators at the pool, but you can walk in St.
Constantine and Elena resort, that in its bazaar located about 1 kilometer
from the hotel and where you can find and terraces or other entertainment
possibilities.

New hotel, closed to the beach, large rooms, with balcony. Large bathroom, clean, towells changed every day.Not very effective air conditioning.
Free and guarded parking - which is very important for people travelling by car. The hotel ensures free shuttle all the time from the parking lot to the hotel (in about 500 m).
The swimming pool is over the promenade street, with free sunbeds and umbrella and you can use the facilities of the restaurant and bar from the near hotel Veronica 3* - which is on the beach.
Acceptable restaurant, with all inclusive buffet, having a terrace with view to the sea, interesting Bulgarian specialities (eg. bourek).
Very good seaside resort for people with small kids: quiet resort, the parking is far away from the hotel with no danger for kids crossing the promenade street in front of the hotel (only shuttle bus and excursion buses are allowed to cross on promenade street). Also, the acces in the resort is guarded.
Not many possibilities of entertainment (in special for young people). At 10 pm you have to go sleeping!

Room Tip: second floor, sea view
