“Good hotel with a few flaws”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Really enjoyed my holiday here with my partner July 2012: hotel very clean, pools and waterslides great and drinks pretty good. Food was good in the speciality restaurants and ok in the buffet restaurant, plenty of choice although not always that warm or nicely-cooked. Getting sunbeds was definitely a problem for us, we would not normally manage to get 2 until the afternoon, even sometimes on the private beach. In addition, our room was small and dated, although clean. It was fine for us, but from the balcony you could see some very adult areas and shops- not very appropriate! However, as a whole the hotel was good and a very enjoyable holiday!

This is my first vacation spent in Bulgaria and I was positively surprised.
The parking space: is free and is garded all the time, as it is the entire complex.
The rooms: I had a room near the main restaurant at the top floor. It was a little hard to sleep in the first night as I am used to a very quiet neigborhood at my home, but as I got used to the silverware noise it was ok. The heat was also bearable even if on the top floor, but I was on june and maybe during mid summer it might get a little hotter, so no comfortable anymore.
The food: It was my first "All Inclusive" so I don't have any reference points, but comparing to my expectations, the food was diverse enough. Not always of quality, but satisfactory for me. The "a la carte" restaurants are pretty good to (we most enjoied the bulgarian restaurant).
The beach: there is a big pool inside the complex and also a private beach (very few hotels have a private beach in Sunny Beach), where you can find free chairs and umbrellas. This is a big advantage for families with children that go several times a day to the beach, trying to avoid the dangerous sunrays from noon.
The overall impression that I have is good and I would recommend the hotel to my friends.

We have stayed in Evrika Club in August 2012, for our third vacation in Sunny Beach. A lot of good things regarding this hotel: very nice aqua park free of charge (we had a lot of fun and spent very nice time here), free of charge parking, very good and lot of choices for all inclusive food and beverages very fresh and tasty, free sun beds and umbrella to the beach. Just a few bad things - the room (we stayed in the old block) was a bit small and dated, the facilities in the room were not up to standard. Bring your own towels and cosmetics (bath gel, shampoo, body lotion). All in all we had a wonderful time in Evrika, we would reccommend to anyone and we would return in this hotel in the next future.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the new block - they seem to be larger and more modern.

First time I had been to Bulgaria but would have no hesitation in recommending this All Inclusive Hotel. The hotel was spotless (they are cleaning continuously), we had a big room for the two of us, big bathroom with a balcony that overlooked the pool area at one side and a grassed courtyard at the other side. I liked the idea of three other restaurants (Italian, Asian and Bulgarian) apart from the Main dining hall. The food in ALL of the restaurants was well cooked and presented beautifully. The pool area and the slides was used by both children and adults, especially the "Lazy River", they were kept clean and to a very high standard. There were plenty of sun beds available and you weren't allowed to go down at dawn to get your bed and leave a towel on for the rest of the day, the staff removed them!!! Result!! This is waht all hotels should be doing. Food and drink was available at all times of the day. We loved the pool bar, although we did wait a while for a drink at the swim up bar. The beach bar was fabulous, beach, swim, bar!!! There was plenty going on at this hotel both day and night for everyone, young and old. The staff throughout the hotel were lovely, very thoughtful and wanted you to have a good holiday. The animation team worked very hard to make sure you enjoyed yourself, they encouraged everyone to join in and take part. This hotel was faultless!! The only complaint were the Germans who were loud and rude with no manners. I was told the shops were good at Bulgaria, but I didn't find anything I could/wanted to buy. Nessebar was lovely and worth a visit for its quaint streets. I would definately come back to Sunny Beach, and it would be the Evrika Hotel. Well Done to all the staff!!

Room Tip: The rooms on the front of the hotel are more "modern" but smaller. We were overlooking th...

First time in Bulgaria with family including 22 month old baby.
From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough for us and this continued throughout the stay.
We would recomend this hotel to anyone and would return again.

Room Tip: Pool or sea view are the best.

i was a bit aprehensive about going here for my first ever holiday after reading some of the reviews, but we went here for a week from 17th September-23rd.we arrived just after 10p.m and the hotel staff were great at booking us and and telling us where our room was,we were given a free upgrade to a family room.within 5 minutes of getting to our room we had the reception ring to ask if everything was ok with the room.the room was spotless and the bed was comfy, only downfall was that we had a room above the laundry room shutter and balcony view was overlooking the tennis court which was obscured by trees.the food was fantastic and plentiful and drinks were ok.the place was full of rude Germans who stared at and seemed rude to the staff.i have to compliment the staff as they all very nice and want to please you,we even found some of the staff took the time to chat to us in English which i thought was great.the pool was cold but cleaned every morning, the Animation staff try to please everyone and get you involved.the beach was great with plenty of sunloungers and watersports to be found, but the shops etc are repetitive and staff try to hassle you into going into them or the eateriesGEMMA the Thomson rep was an absolute pleasure to meet, she tried to get us things to take home when we couldnt find them, and she came looking for us to let us know what she had found.i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and this will be the hotel we set a standard to when booking another and would go back again.we met some English people there, but never exchanged emails or numbers,so if you read this Jay or Pat from Sheffield then get in contact please.TOM and KATE

Room Tip: rooms in block D are the best for views

The staff were absolutely amazing, anything you needed they would sort for you. Very clean hotel with good facilities and a huge choice of activities on site and around the area. Definitely spoiled for choice, couldn't fit it all in but know for next time to stay longer.
Food was fab, got the choice between 3 themed restaurants as well as the main restaurant. Make sure you book the A La Carte Italian restaurant as soon as you can, always difficult to get a booking.
Would love to return :)
