The place is certainly unpretentious, to the extent that an intimate dining experience won't be had. However, my ribeye was a nice cut and very well seasoned with some sort of rub. This really surprised me as the ribs I originally ordered were overcooked to mushiness and had no flavor whatsoever. My wife had the shrimp scampi and she got several very nice sized shrimp.
Dean, the owner, made it a point to stop by and apologize for the ribs. I think he would have regardless, as he seemed like a very nice man.
The prices were a bit high for straightforward food, but the service was good and the chef could cook a good steak. The best steakhouse in town but they need to fix the ribs!
