“Modern and professional decor. Great stay with a few friends and did some work”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

This was our first stay @ Grand Forks SpringHill Suites. The rooms and lobby look just like the on line pictures. The room was VERY clean and modern. Our breakfast was great! We sometimes stay at the Canad Inn down the street, but for a girls weekend away from kids, this was the place. The decor is fresh and modern. The hotel staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. If I was traveling with a person with whom I wouldn't feel comfortable with using the restroom I might feel a little uncomfortable. The bathroom and the shower are in two different spots, but they are both basically right there. That was the only thing that I could find an issue. If your uncomfortable with that, you could go down to the lobby area where the bathrooms are very clean. There wasn't a restaurant in the building. We had a great stay. I would look at the direct price and the online price to get the better deal. Loved the decor it was very professional and modern..

My wife & I spent 2 nights here over the Easter weekend. The hotel is fairly new, and it is beautiful. Our room, a king bed room, was nicely finished with lots of glass doors and partitions. The bed was very comfortable.
Check-in was quick and easy. The breakfast (hot & cold) was exceptional. The breakfast area had lots of seating.
The pool was somewhat small, but was not busy, so the size had little effect.
The hotel is situated very close to Columbia Mall, and across from Target.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who asks. I will definately return.

Newer hotel, with modern vibrant colours.Soft beds, faced west towards highway, good window coverings.Spacious layout of rooms, divided toilet from shower.Separate reading, desk area, comfortable beds.

A few different breakfast items (canadian turkey bacon , a few different styles of eggs and english muffins)

The windows in breakfast area if you were sitting directly nextto them definitely had a draft,(wear a sweater).

Attentive, pleasant, staff.

For the sleep comfort and cleanliness I would come again.Room though was about a third more than other two bed queen rooms in Grand Forks.

This was our first time visiting the area. We were very pleased with this hotel. It was immaculate both in the lobby/breakfast area and in our room. We arrived early and they kindly had our room made up as quickly as possible so we could get settled in. The layout of the room gave us plenty of space and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was a microwave, coffeemaker, and minifridge in the room. The breakfast offered plenty of variety and there were eggs and turkey Canadian bacon each morning in addition to whole wheat waffles, bagels, oatmeal, muffins, etc. Our room was on the bottom floor at the front of the building but we didn't notice any noise at night from the street. Shops and restaurants are nearby - you can even walk to some. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Really, I think this might be the nicest hotel in Grand Forks. I'm not a fan of old hotels and floral bedspreads, which seems to be the norm at the majority of hotels in Grand Forks. However, this new offering was modern, clean, and quite good for what it was. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, the lobby was attractive, and the staff went about their day with a smile on their face. We stayed for two nights, and I couldn't fault it.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2010

We stayed here two nights and were so pleased with the friendly front desk service. The hotel is really clean, comfortable and relaxing. The European design is refreshingly different from most comparably priced hotels. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and the food was just fine. Everything about this place just seemed generally well thought out. The linens were crisp and clean. Towels were soft. The shower is very nice, steamy and relaxing. The pool area was very nice and clean and didn't have an overpowering chlorine smell. The exercise room was great. The equipment is top of the line LifeFitness and they even provide towels, antibacterial wipes, a music system, etc... The room was quiet. Very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I normally have a hard time sleeping comfortably in hotels and had no problem here. The pillows were great. I usually bring my own because hotel pillows usually cause me to wake up wih a headache but I forgot mine this time. No worries. They have a few different kinds of pillows on each bed of different firmness and I found one that was very comfortable. I really liked this place. It was a great value. I will be seeking out Springhill Suites elsewhere when we travel. Oh, and free wifi also.
