“Great value, Similar to staying in a motel 6, but a few dollars $cheaper.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

Clean, Comfortable enough, And $78. What more could you ask for? I thought the mattress was a little firm, But my wife thought it was okay. There was enough hot water to shower the entire family. The layout and experience Was similar to a Motel 6, But a lot of the furniture is old. However, they keep it clean. I would stay again at that price.

Good that it was just off the Interstate. My ground floor room was comfortable (felt a little damp from recent rains but running the A/C fan for a while seemed to remedy that), and had every comfort (a fridge, coffee maker, and a microwave). The TV was older but worked great. I arrived late and was not able to check out the bar and other amenities, but they serve a continental breakfast and the staff were so pleasant. It was very clean and a great value for the money. I will definitely stay again when passing through Fargo.

This used to be the Select Inn, it is now Fargo Inn & Suites. They have remodeled and done a good job. The rooms are nice and quite! It is a pet friendly hotel which only charges a $5 pet fee and they have a discount for Veterans that have appointments at the nearby VA hospital. The overall rate was excellent.
They also have a small bar attached which has a nice mostly enclosed outdoor area for smokers.
There is a nice breakfast area with a continental breakfast served in the morning. There is also a small gym with a few select pieces of equipment.
I highly recommend this hotel especially if you are a smoker and travel with your pet.

Room Tip: We were in a room by an exit door, and vending machines and it was quite! So one might assume that t...

I booked a non smoking suite, when I arrived the room had a strong odor of smoke and wet dog smell. I was unaware that this was a pet friendly place. I called to the front desk to see if there was another room available. We were able to change to another room that did not have an odor. After midnight we were awoke to someone trying to enter our room. I called the front desk, they told me that they forgot to make the changes in the computer that we had changed rooms. The walls are terribly thin, we could hear everything in the halls and the next room. At 9am house keeping tried to come in even though check out is at 11am. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows are terrible. I would suggest brining your own if you stay there. I will not be staying there again, nor will I suggest it to anyone

Had to wait a bit at reception (with no little bell to ding) to check in, but not too bad. Rooms are comfortable and clean, if basic and a bit dated. Overall, a pretty average hotel. Nothing special, but not bad and good value for the money.

I would like to say thank you very much for the clean, comfortable afforable and quiet accomodations at the Fargo Inn has. Not only is that the only thing great at this motel but the staff is excellent!! I would stay here again. I would say this is one of the best motels in the FM area for sure!! Anyone traveling to this area should stay there!!

Room Tip: stay on the main floor!!

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. One never knows what one is going to get when booking on line. Pictures may paint a thousand words, many times the words are lies. The hotel was very clean, staff super friendly especially Amy who runs the place like a bed & breakfast across the pond. Continental breakfast was good, except for the gross gravy with the biscuits which were not my cup of tea. But I guess culturally they are what they are. Would definitely stay there again, and also recommend to friends etc. with love from Winnipeg.

Room Tip: Ground floor was great, never stayed on the upper level so can not really comment
