“Great Service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

We lunched at Peacock Alley recently, eating in the bar. The menu choices were pretty much wraps and burgers. We had the overpriced angus/ground bacon burger. It was nothing special, but the toppings were fresh and good. The onion rings and fries were also good.
There is a variety of good beers.
Our server was excellent, with just the right amount of attentiveness.
The atmosphere is nice, but the food just doesn't make us want to return.

Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear that the service was good. I am sorry to hear you did not like the bacon grind burger. This burger is getting rave reviews by some but obviously not what you expected. We grind applewood bacon along with our signature ground beef which gives it that strong smokey flavor and unusual texture. We surely would have made you a regular burger instead since you did not like the bacon grind. Next time you come in and don't like something please let us know and we will gladly make you something else.
Thanks again,
Dale

“Overall a well oiled operation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

My wife and I come to the Peacock Ally quite often. Most of the time is for Lunch or appetizers but we always have drinks. The Martini list is what brings us in then we go from there. We prefer to set in a section where Brandon is serving, we find him to be efficient and just the right amount of friendly, not tail wagging just pleasant and good at what he does. We have had generally quite good luck. The appetizers are very good, nice selection with some unique items that are not available anywhere else in town. There was a time a while back that we completely quit going to the Peacock for a long period of time because of the lack of quality and other complications that just didn't justify the price. Obviously things have changed a lot. As long as that holds we will continue to come in. We recommend your establishment to many out of town visitors. Keep up the good work!

“This place is hit or miss.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

One day I went in and enjoyed a great meal with business associates. The next visit, I paid $5 for water and $10 for a burger, because burgers were essentially the ONLY thing on the menu. Until they can find a little consistency and make up their minds, the price simply isn't worth the gamble that you might have a pleasant experience.

Chocktaw1,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are confused by your comment that "burgers were essentially the ONLY thing on the menu." Our lunch menu has 46 items on it, and only 6 are burgers. Our dinner menu has 52 items on it and only 7 are burgers. 87% of our menu is not burgers. Also our water is free unless of course you are referring to Pellegrino or Voss.
Best,
Dale
