Description: We are overlooking the scenic anchorage on Banks Channel, located on beautiful Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Our restaurant has been the Local's favorite since 1997. We welcome our guests with consistent, creative cuisine served in a friendly, casual atmosphere. You can enjoy a great burger sitting outside on our patio for lunch or experience the unique, eclectic, regional cuisine at dinner of our Chef James Rivenbark. His menu highlights the bounty of fresh Carolina coastal seafood at our front door. We also have Gluten Free items.

“Reasonably priced”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Great place to eat! Good seafood! Low prices! Good breakfast too! We ate across the bay and then discovered this place was just as good with a much better price!

“Wonderful food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

We were looking for a restaurant that overlooked the water. Although South Beach Grill does not have a direct, unobstructed, water view, we were very pleased with our meal. The Grouper Linda was exceptional and the service was very good.

“Nice Evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Our first evening on the island we chose this restaurant. Sat outside on the covered terrace and enjoyed a late dinner. The menu is good and offers fresh local seafood choices. Our waiter was patient with us, and created a wonderful off the menu rum drink for dessert. Wish I'd gotten the recipe. We enjoyed the meal and the outside dining.

“A Wrightsville Classic!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

We usually dine here off-season, but went on a summer Saturday night with friends.

The summer menu was filled with creative seasonal starters and entrees . We shared the fish nachos, which were very tasty. One of the special entrees was Grouper Lumina, perfectly fresh and topped with mushrooms, roasted corn and red peppers. Osso Bucco, fresh flounder in a simple lemon butter and seafood lasagne were all delicious and perfectly prepared. Nice wine list, too.
Dessert was home-made key lime in a lovely crust and not-too-tart filling. A great meal enjoyed by all!
Cramped interior and six of us squeezed into a small table is our only negative comment about South Beach Grille. If it has been cooler outside, we would have requested a patio table.

“Good dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

We had a family dinner here while on a quick trip to the beach. They are busy so we called ahead and made a reservation without issue. We sat on the patio which can make for nice sunset views other than the vehicles driving by and close quarters seating. (Keep in mind it's a college town) The food was good but not outstanding. The waitress failed to tell me about and off menu special that I would have really wanted to try. My wife's dish was an interesting spin on eggplant which she liked. Friendly service and good food but nothing over the top.
