The staff were very helpfull in the planning and execution of the birthday party for my wife's 50th birthday. The food, banquet room and bar were all set up exactly the way as we had asked for. Denise, Jessica and their staff were helpfull and professional from beggining to the end.

Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Good location. Quiet. Stayed 2 weekends in a row. Both times we had booked with Travelocity and hotel could not find our reservations at first -- seemed annoyed that we booked with them. Eventually found them and we didn't have any issues with paying. Service best described as odd. Cleaning staff was lovely when I ran into them in hall. One woman at front desk was absolutely charming but 2 different staff members at front desk came across as indifferent and annoyed (not working together). One of them actually "tsked" at me and rolled his eyes when I said I'd booked through Travelocity. The other seemed like I was interrupting him. These two should not be working the front desk -- they may be great with accounting but not customer service. Had we not already paid I think we would have left the first visit. We returned because we were coming in late and all other nearby hotels were booked (changed our plans to come a day earlier). We knew the room was clean and comfortable and figured we could deal with the indifference. If you encounter the woman at the front, she's lovely and you'll enjoy your stay. If it is either of the men, you may find it off-putting.

Room Tip: The handicap accessible rooms 225 / 325.... etc. have a shower / tub, king bed and are more spacious...

I've stayed here on both business and family trips. It's a newer HGI and still has that "new car smell." The rooms have the standard adjustable firmness mattresses and once you find your comfort level, all is great. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and fresh. The lobby and breakfast area is clean and orderly and breakfast is always an enjoyable affair.

The only negative is that the parking is somewhat awkward. When you arrive, there will likely be zero parking near the front door, forcing you to park around back and lug your stuff back around front since you can't get into the back door without your room key. I don't think this is anything that can be changed so you just have to deal with it.

Otherwise, this is a very nice HGI. Good location near I-40 and minutes to downtown Winston.

Nice staff and good location. Close to shopping and also only 20 minutes or so from the GSO airport. Staff is nice. The room i stayed is was very humid so not so pleasant and the room service not the best but an ok hotel....

My husband was here on Business Trip for Birthday. I called to order a Sugar Free Dessert to have delivered to his room (He's Diabetic), and the Hotel did not have any. The manager, drove to the store, bought one, and delivered it to the room at NO COST to me! WOW!

The kitchen staff and wait staff were overwhelmed of the morning of 9 June. No bowls or milk, tables were filled with dirty dishes, we had to ask twice to receive silverware. Food was great and hot but took a very long time to arrive at our table.

Really enjoyed my stay here at the Hilton. Room could have been a tad bit bigger. The way that the staff greeted me was expectional! I really enjoyed the location as well. Even though the Cheddars wasnt that good. It right by a Walmart, Target, some shops etc. Great location!! Overall great experience!!
