I wanted to much to like this restaurant. We sat outside with a view of the river and riverwalk. It took about 15 minutes for our waiter to arrive at our table. We ordered drinks and got them in a fair amount of time; but it went downhill from there. The appetizers were mostly bland, except for the crab dip, which tasted fishy. The deep fried crawfish were soggy, and no one ate more than one. Without our saying a word, they were removed from our bill. A few minutes after receiving our appetizers, our main course arrived. After some shuffling of dishes, we had a table filled with mediocre food. My husband enjoyed his tuna pita, which was seared and served rare; and another friend enjoyed his Po' Boy. My black bean burger tasted like mashed black beans and cumin. Should I have expected more? I think so. The grilled chicken panini was dry and rather tasteless. We didn't stick around for dessert. Sorry to say, we will not return.
