This is a very well organized museum with some remarkable exhibits. It is a tribute to its many donors and a far-seeing board. They do not attempt to be all things to all people, but do have an increased focus on local artists.
Saw a remarkable colletion of Hiroshige and Kunisada II prints, a quality exhibition of American and European Modernist prints, a world-class exhibit of Mary Cassatt color etchings, along with an exhibit of Minnie Evans, Claude Howell and Elisabeth Chant.
A strength was that they provided trifolds with details on each of the artists to read while there or later.
There are also some intriguing sculptures on the grounds.
The cafe was closed when we came in, so no rating on that.
Entry was very reasonable. Closed Mondays. Go to www.cameronartmuseum.com to see their calendar.
