When we pulled up to Fish Bites, we wondered if it was as good as the reviews said. It is in a small, gas station strip mall. Unassuming is polite way to put it. We walked in and it was clean, but the decor was not something to write home about.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food came out fast, but not so fast it would make you wonder . . .
I used to be a commercial fisherman, so I know sea food, and like it fresh. I had mine and tasted my wife's. This was quite possibly the best sea food I have ever had at a restaurant! On top of that, the prices were quite inexpensive and the plates were loaded.
If the owner would move to a nicer location, with more upscale decor he could easily get away with charging 3 times what he is charging now. Since I am not trying to impress anyone anymore with the pricyness of a restaurant, and the decor is fine, I'm glad he is not moving.
When it comes to sea food, I can't see how Fish Bites can be beat. If you love sea food, do yourself a favor and try them out. You won't be sorry.
P.S. My 10 y/o son does not like seafood, so he had their chicken fingers. You could tell they hand breaded these, and they were delicious! (Yes I ate from everyones dish!). There was also an over-abundance of them too.
