“Nice evening...nice room...OK menu...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

Three of us had dinner at The Brasserie du Soleil at Lumina Station last night. The place was pleasant with a choice of indoor or outdoor dining...we stayed inside. The menu is eclectic and features basic, well-prepared American selections. A fair amount of seafood dishes on the menu, as expected in a seaside resort, but they were predictable and didn't feature local dishes (why Scottish salmon in North carolina?...). There were also a good selection of beef dishes and salads, as well. The drinks were large and the service was cheerful. My companions had the brie/spinach crepe and sauteed flounder. I had hamburger sliders and fries. The fries were nothing special and came as a separate "side" for $5!! The desserts were served in small glasses, which was interesting but a bit twee. However, the tart that I ordered came on a plate and was delicious. All in all, a pleasant place but I'm OK not going back.

“Excellent as usual”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

We've been to the Brasserie many times and have always enjoyed it. Our recent visit, we had an awesome, attentive waiter...Kathy. She was very well versed in the menu, specials, wine etc. The food was excellent. At the table we had duck, chicken, salads, dessert. You can't go wrong.

The place is a bit noisy when it gets crowded, but that is minimal compared to the delicious food!

Keep up the good work!

“Good French Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012 via mobile

I stopped by here for the first time on my recent trip to Wilmington. I had the spinach crepe and it was very good. The restaurant can be a little loud when it's full, but that's about its only negative. On the plus side, the waitstaff is quick and friendly, and the desserts are very good. Recommended.

“Very good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012 via mobile

We had dinner here tonight and it was very good. I tried the seafood crepe and the pots de creme mini dessert and was very happy. There are vegetarian friendly options. It can get quite loud in the restaurant but the food is good.

“Excellent Waiter”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

We had our first dinner experience at Brasserie this week. The waiter was awesome. There were so many specials that were very different and he was able to explain them all showing in-depth food knowledge. He was also always there when we needed something and never got impatient when we took forever to make up our minds. I had the Bouillabaisse; it was a huge bowl very filling. The food is excellent here, but I think the lunch menu is more fun. I especially like the sliders which are made with beef ground fresh by the restaurant. The pomme frites are to die for.
The restaurant is very pretty and can accommodate crowds. Don't miss it.
