“UNSAFE DO NOT STAY HERE. STRANGER DANGER.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

It was move-in weekend for the college kids and after 8 different hotels were sold out we were stuck with this one. The room was very cramped and dirty. At around 4:00 AM!!! A pill head came banging on our door asking for money because "her husband was dying and needed gas money to take him to the hospital" Needless to say we didn't call the police because we had been downtown drinking and it was very late. We knew the drug addict would've been gone by the time to police got there. We gave her about 8$ to go away because 8$ is better than being robbed and possibly killed by a pill addicted 40 year old woman (and a man sitting ALIVE in the car parked outfront) She sped off faster than you can say "wtf just happened" I felt VERY UNSAFE. This hotel has NO SECURITY or CAMERAS IN THE PARKING LOT. If you're bringing your family, young children/whatever. I suggest you find a nicer safer hotel and stay OFF the ground level. Very scary. WILL NEVER BE STAYING IN A QI AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel is in a good location, the staff is very pleasant, but the room was just a little better than awful... Non-smoking room... yeah right, the odor of cigarettes was overwhelming as soon as we opened the door. The cleaning staff changed all the linens and sprayed their "ozone" spray, but it did little to improve it... The air conditioner was very noisy and always running. The room was well worn and in need of renovation... one of the worst rooms I've stayed in. The staff was very friendly and courteous, the breakfast was great, but the condition of the room was very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Oh yeah, they botched our bill too... we had two rooms on two different accounts, yet they both ended up charged to my card... Still gotta work that one out...

Used choice points for this stay so were not exactly sure of the price but it wasn't really worth 8000. We checked in with the night auditor Alicia. She was a doll!!! The young lady at the front desk who had to come and unlock the bathroom door we accidentally locked ourselves out of too was very nice and very prompt. The room appeared clean when we checked in, unfortunately the after using the restroom for a "simple go", the room developed a very unpleasant odor. That kind of turned us off from there. The breakfast was pretty good for continental. Management definitely tried their hardest to accommodate their guests with that aspect because there were a lot of good things on there. The decor was decent and the lobby was cute! Overall the stay was average but the service really pushed that over the edge.

We really loved the breakfast-everything from hot waffles, yogurt, cereal, cake, fruit, and muffins. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was plenty room for one night. I wouldn't stay a weekend here, as it isn't the nicest place-but the customer service was very accomadating

Went down for Memorial Day weekend and wanted something inexpensive. This place was fairly reasonably priced, but not really a place I would normally stay (bought blind on Hotwire). The room we had was recently renovated and wasn't terrible. There was a Corona beer bottle laying on its side behind the nightstand (with beer still in it). The parking lot get's kind of weird at night with different groups just hanging out. Didn't feel liike the safest place.

Stayed here in July 2012 for three nights in two seperate rooms (returned for a third night). It is a good hotel for the price with exterior corridors and ample parking. I noticed a lot of construction folks and construction vehicles. Has an outside barbeque area which is good.
The rooms were a little crowded with the chair fitted in between the bed and window, but it is a nice chair, just big.
The staff was extreamly nice and helpful and I interacted with at least 5 different employees.

Room Tip: Of the two rooms which I occupied, the first floor was best and both were on the back side.

Stayed here one night while traveling. Can't really say anything bad about this motel, which has exterior corridors. This allowed me to park right outside my door, which make it handy to bring belongings and valuables in from the vehicle.

The room was on the small side but very clean. A microwave and refrigerator were very handy. Wi-fi worked great. Acceptable water pressure in the shower. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of available TV channels.

Breakfast was OK, but not what is typically served at Quality Inns. They had the usual continental fare, but the meat items consisted of frozen sausage biscuits and chicken biscuits to heat up in the microwave.

Friendly service from the desk clerks at check-in and check-out, and from the breakfast attendant. A great value using my KY Farm Bureau member's discount when I reserved online while i was a few miles outside of town, and i got a first-floor room that i requested. Located on Market Street (US 17 Business) and plenty of shopping and dining are nearby.

Would I stay here again if I was ever back in Wilimington? Definitely!
