“Love the consistency and value of Hampton Inn.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

I travel for work and for fun and have always have good experiences with Hampton Inn. This location is no exception. The young woman working behind the counter was very responsive to our needs and even recommended a great restaurant (Deadwood) that was great in a location with limited options. The hotel has been renovated and the rooms clean and well stocked with a good size fridge and microwave. It has a nice, simple outdoor pool and the complimentary breakfast (a hallmark Hampton Inn item) was great. Room was less than $100 and I used some point to get the 2nd room for only $14.26. Can't go wrong with this hotel and the Hampton Inn chain. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels that are not as good at making you feel at home. Free wifi, free breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, great location, comfortable AC, all good. Enjoy your next stay here and join the Hilton Honors program as the points do add up!

This facility is approximately 10 years old. The lobby and breakfast area are presently under renovation. I was told the rooms will also be renovated in the near term. Our room was a little tired, but was clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were pretty good. The rollaway my daughter slept on was adequate. The bathroom was exceptionally well lit (finally someone got it right), but showed minor deferred maintenance.

The breakfast provided a fairly good selection but was understaffed, many items needed replineshment. Overall, no worse than most complimentary breakfasts at similar caliber chain hotels.

The pool was small, but clean. The Internet connection was quick and reliable.

Parking was adequate and well illuminated.

We were passing through and this hampton inn was reasonably priced and provided a comfortable night's sleep for my family. Although the rooms are due for a renovation, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I often travel to Williamston, NC on business. Anyone who has been there knows there's not much to see or do. And where to stay presents just as big a challenge. However I can always count on this Hampton Inn to be clean and accommodating with an exceptionally friendly staff. We never have any trouble with "drama" like we've seen at other hotels in the area and never have the complaints others seem to have about their hotels. We we ONLY stay here when we travel to Williamston!

The hotel was nice, the staff was friendly. However the room was in need of a good review by maintenance. Felt like a nice Holiday Inn... but not a Hampton. Breakfast eggs were dry and the selection was just par.. Sign said "under construction" but I never could tell what part was being renovated and what part was already done. Parking / Pool area was clean and well lit at night. Like I said ... it wasn't "bad".... but it was flying the wrong flag.

Room 205 - the tub/shower was caulked poorly and had a hint of pink mildew starting (as if the tub was getting wiped down, but not cleaned) the tub itself had hair in it upon arrival as did the sink. There is a tear or glue under the vanity mirror - as if something had been mounted there but removed... really need to cover that up. Taylor at the front desk was very friendly - I only knew her name when she answered the phone ... never saw a name tag on anyone all weekend. Tried to call down the front desk and all I got was a busy signal.... no matter what button I pushed on the "fancy" speed dial phone (nothing programmed?). I called out to the "outside number" and was answered right away. Why have a two line phone in a room and only one line? I wonder if many of the items in this hotel were moved when the property moved down the interstate years ago?

Excellent service...great people working there. When I came into the hotel, the people there immediately assisted me with my room. It was evident the people who work for Hampton are aware of the importance of customer service.

We loved this hotel. We stopped for a one night stay traveling from Florida and had a late check-in. The staff was very helpful and quick during the check-in process which was nice because we were very tired after driving all day. Hot breakfast was good and staff was helpful there also.

The water pressure was poor. The water turned scolding if you turned on the sink. Worst of all screaming noisy guests at the pool kept us up at night (even after 3 complaints to the front desk). They were out well past the 9pm posted time and we were basically told that the hours were unenforceable.

The bed was comfortable (only plus), but the rest of the room was old and dingy. Breakfast was ok, but in general the Hampton Inn breakfast quality has gone done in the last year. You used to get bacon, sausage, etc, now it's always biscuits and gravy.

Room Tip: NOTHING NEAR THE POOL! Don't stay on the first floor or anything facing the back of the hotel...
