“Sad News”

This was our favorite place for Breakfast in Jefferson NC. Sadly, it is now closed. Hopefully, one day they will re-open. A real loss for Jefferson.

“Fresh baked goodness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

I went to eat here on a whelm with my fiance and a local business owner and personal friend. The cafe is smaller in size but the atmosphere is warm and happy. I ordered a salad and my fiance ordered a cheeseburger but the smell of fresh baked pastries made us want to skip directly to dessert. Our food arrived shortly and was fresh and delicious! My salad was generously proportioned and my fiance's burger far exceeded our expectations for a "bakery burger". It was juicy, made with excellent quality meat, and tasted like it has been grilled in the backyard at a cookout! For dessert I ordered the pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing and he ordered a cinnamon bun, and both were absolutely delicious. The lady taking our order at the front was very nice and we both ate for under $15. We will eat here many more times in the future.

“Delicious food, friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2011 via mobile

We have eaten both breakfast and lunch at Sweet Aromas many times and have always enjoyed the food. The baked goods are the best in town.

“Friendly, Delicious, Feel Good Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2009

In the little town of Jefferson North Carolina you will find a delightful restaurant called Sweet Aromas. There is a Peace and Friendship Mural on the front of the building. Read all the quotes. They were submitted by the people in the area describing what peace and friendship means to them. Sit on the front porch and check out the blooming flowers from the garden and check out the view of Mt. Jefferson. This place is beautiful.

Inside is a bakery and restaurant. The owner is the Nutritionist from the Health Dept. in town so you know you are eating nutritious food. You will not find fried greasy food there. The food is delicious with a bite of dessert served with every meal.

What i like the best about this business is they employ developmentally disabled people to help operate the business. Cleaning, washing dishes, recycling cardboard, etc. There is a little area where crafts and items such as Doggie biscuits are sold by some of the supporting disabled folks.

This place will make you feel good eating the delicious food, feed your soul with the amazing view, and warm your heart knowing you are helping support many people who work there. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
