My husband and I stayed here with a group for the weekend. This facility is really not set up to host groups such as ours. The sitting room is very small with a well WORN couch and chair. There is a very large dining area if you want to sit in a straight chair for the evening. We had dinner here Friday night . We were charged $15 a person and were told we received a "discount". The meat was a packaged roast beef product....all the slices were exactly the same and the vegetables, a frozen mix. The tea was made from a mix too. Much better meals could be had in town for the price. The rooms were very hard to keep comfortable. Too hot one night and freezing the next. Water flow was also a problem in the bathrooms. One morning I brushed my teeth with a trickle. WIFI was non-exsistent in the lower rooms. Our blinds were also broken and we had to hang items over the window so people could not see in.There was no service to the room during our weekend stay. Coffee and a few drinks left over from dinner were available the first night, but there was no hot water for tea bags. Nothing was there the second night, not even ice. Breakfast was awful. The same egg casserole which probably came from bag was served both mornings. There were frozen waffles and cereal, if you like Fruit Loops and Cocoa Puffs. They did serve biscuits and sausage one day and biscuits and bacon the next. All in all a very disappointing experience. The group I was with stays at a B & B every January. We definitely will not be back here.
