Comfortable and cozy inn within walking distance of downtown Waynesville. Great breakfasts both mornings. Attractive decor throughout; convenient late arrival process. Coffee and cold beverages available 24/7. Loved the "British" theme complete with the Michelle's accent!

Michelle is always so gracious. The food, room and atmosphere is very relaxing. We'll be back!This was our second visit, and it was every bit as good as the first. Michelle fixes excellent different dishes and always has something new on the menu. I love it there.

The town of Waynesville NC is guaint & eclectic. The Herren House serves a wonderful breakfast to it's guests with many cozy spaces to rest or read. Michelle offers many suggestions for alternative meals & every restaurant is great. The town was still decorated for the holidays in mid-January. I can't wait to go back when the flowers are in bloom. If you have to fly into Charlotte NC, I recommend renting a car there and driving the hour or so to Waynesville. The flight from Charlotte is often held up by connecting flights. The short drive into Asheville NC is beautiful. The Biltmore Mansion, gardens & winery is worth the $45 entrance fee. This was out first trip to a bed and breakfast and it was amazing! We are so ready to go back! The innkeeper, Michelle, is the sweetest person and right away, you feel like you have known her forever. And she calls everyone by their name, which makes you feel so special! The room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast was delicious, as were the homemade cookies! The inn was conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Waynesville, which is the cutest little town and great shops! I highly recommend taking a trip to the Herren House.
