My husband and I were looking for a one-night stay somewhere near Asheville, and stumbled upon all the glowing reviews of the Windover Inn on Trip Advisor. It was very surprising how hard it was to find a place that did not have a 2-night minimun (and we didn't want to be away from our daughter more than overnight). We booked our stay based on the reviews and were not disappointed! We stayed in the Smokey Mountain Suite and it was huge!

The owners were very friendly without being over-bearing and the house and rooms were beautiful! The breakfast was very good (somehow my husband even ate the yogurt in his fruit parfait)! The breakfast was served in the home's dining room. Unlike most of the other B&B's we have stayed at, guests are expected to share their tables with other couples. We are not especially social people, but found that we really enjoyed talking with the other guests, who were mostly other couples getting a night or two away from the kids.

Really enjoyed everything about the Windover Inn and will definitely stay here again!

I spent weeks comparing reviews and looking for an affordable B&B and let me tell you, we struck gold with this place! We stayed in the Pacific sweet and it was very spacious, two rooms to be exact. It had a Jacuzzi bath, two fireplaces and the most comfortable bed I have slept in in years. Jen and Glen were very friendly and pleasant and were never making us feel out of place. Breakfast was also super delicious. Will definitely be going back for all of our Asheville stays!

We found ourselves looking for a place to stay in Waynesville for a dear friends August wedding. As a suggested place to stay from the bride-to-be, we started looking online at the reviews and website. Soon we were 90% sold on the idea we would be staying. I called to ask some questions about The Windover Inn – as well as the area. Was pleasantly surprised to speak with Glenn.

Since most of the wedding party were coming from out of town, we wanted to stay somewhere a group of us could hang out and catch up. We found out one couple had booked (they also have written an 5 star review) a room. One of the many benefits of staying at The Windover is if 3 rooms book for the same event, all rooms get a great group discount.

Upon arriving, we met Glenn and Jennifer. They welcomed us in (early no doubt) and gave us a lay of the land, offered us drinks, told us when dinner would be served – when breakfast would be served – pretty much just let us know they were happy to be hosting us.

Throughout the weekend, we enjoyed top-notch cooking, excellent service, and just an amazing time with them both. Even after having a bit of a late night porch gathering on our last evening, Jennifer was sweet enough to pack up our fresh homemade scones to go.

Having been fortunate to stay at some very nice bnb's – The Windover Inn (Jen & Glenn) have our number one spot as the favorite bnb for service, quality, vibe and rooms. There's not a bad spot in house! But we definitely recommend spending some time that porch!

Jen and Glen run the whole show! Thier standard is obviously very high! The house is a magnificent huge Victorian beautifully maintained and the grounds are inviting to explore and relax in! The inn is spotless but comfortable. The food is top notch (you can taste the love) and very acommodating to dietary requests. Our hosts are well informed on all manor of things to do in the area and directions to get you there. Jen and Glen's amazing service reflects a love for what they do. And they do it better than anyone! In addition to all of the above, thier personal warmth and hospitality made us never want to leave!
