“Great Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

We got Take-Out pizzas for our Saturday night crowd on vacation. We ordered 3 large pizzas and their cheese sticks. It was on time and delicious. the veggie pizza was the best. We had 7 people and they all loved them. We tried the ground beef, veggie, and cheese. Be sure to try it on your next mountain trip!

“"Good" Italian food-but not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

Overall the food is good, the pizza is good but certainly not great (my wife and I like great pizza and this is just one of only 2 pizza choices in Waynesville and neither are great). We trade off between this restaurant and Bocellis.

“Where else are you going to go?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

Angelo's, far too much cheese on their pizza. Crust, ok, sauce, sauce? I couldn't find it under the inch of cheese. $50 for three large pizzas, I use the term 'large' loosely. The large pizzas should be called small, no large is really available. I don't care that they cut their round small pizzas in squares, that's a cute quirky thing they do. Just bad value. Nick and Nates not much better. With all these transplanted folks from Philly and NY you would think someone could come down here and give a quality place to go eat pizza. It would knock the pizza that's available right out if business. The way to go at Angelo's is to get 3 or 4 large orders of garlic balls with marinara. One large order is 12 'rolls' smothered in butter and
Garlic, and they only cost $5!!! Waitresses were nice, pleasant people.

“Disappointed; not as remembered”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Ordered two medium pizzas; one thin crust, one regular crust. Each had two toppings and the cost was over +$32. While the pizza tasted good, the size doesn t warrant the excessive cost. Pizzas weren t much bigger than a Dixie paper plate. Plus, we ended up getting both thin crusts which makes ordering extra cheese obsolete...because it s not really possible to even see extra cheese on a thin crust. Four adults were still hungry after eating two entire pizzas, which was thoroughly disappointing.

Hint: if you want to order take out, make sure you ask about specials because they don t offer the information. When I arrived to pick up our order, their roadside sign indicated Buy a large, get a small ....which probably would ve been cheaper.....but then again, given the size of a medium, a small probably would ve been the size of a bagel.
