but this is a very average to slightly above average restaurant. We can't imagine that people have given Sagebrush 5 stars and say that it is worthy of the same rating as Chef's Table (in town also). We have eaten at many of the world's best restaurants (only saying this for perspective, not to sound snobby - although it probably will) and in our opinion Sagebrush is very average.
That being said, the service was good (average), ambiance was average, the staff and bartender was average. Our meal of barbecue pork and blackened prime rib was outstandingly AVERAGE.
We would possibly go back and try other things, but again, if you want average or slightly above average, its your place. We really have nothing negative to say, but nothing particularly good either.
We felt compelled to offer our opinion on this restaurant after reading so many glowing reviews (and that was why we decided to try it, now we're questioning tripadvisor reviews more) and then finding it so overwhelmingly AVERAGE. Did I mention it was average too?
Note: when you want to substitute a healthier side such as mixed vegetables or corn on the cob for the normal fries, you find all the "healthy" alternatives are covered in ... butter.
