Stayed here when arriving late one night; place in Maggie Valley I originally had in mind was closed. Very quiet and quite clean. Got some great recommendations for things to do in the area. Not too much in amenities (no internet, for example), but I didn't need much, and was quite happy to not have to pay for those. Would certainly recommend as a stopover for anyone transiting through the area on 40 or 19/74. Though I didn't use it as a base for visiting the Smokies proper, I could see bringing my wife over for that too.
