Shell and Deb are amazing! We absolutely loved staying at Oak Hill! We stayed in the Margaret Mary Room and it was perfect! Shell and Deb really know how to make your stay amazing! Breakfast was so good and the "to go bag" was perfect! We loved having something amazing to snack on later in the day. We can't wait to come back to stay in this beautiful home!

The Oaks has it ALL !! Surrounded by beautiful mountains, this Inn has kept it's original splendor and added any modern convenience you could need. The breakfast was scrumptious, the owners full of gracious personality and my room..... well, just PERFECT( the fireplace and claw foot tub took it over the top)!

Shell and Deb made sure that our stay was the best! They welcomed us with open arms and hugs for everyone. They escorted us to our rooms. Talked about being exquisite! The decorations are exceptional. The room colors brought you back to the turn of the 20th Century. They brought the history of the place alive! The sitting room was very comfortable, especially for me to cuddle up with a great book in the early morning hours. The breakfast of apples with a pancake on top was hot and filling. The coffee can be non-stop if you let it. Even though it was early February, the weather was great and gave everyone a chance to explore the grounds. Nobody wanted to leave. If we ever get near Waynesville, NC, we will stay longer and enjoy the hospitality of the area!

The owners were very helpful, about everything. Our room was charming in a Southern antiques kind of way. The bathroom had a claw feet tub in which a tall person could soak, unlike most that I have seen that are short in length. I thought that the facial wipes in the bathroom were also a nice touch, great for makeup removal. They recycle, which gets a big plus in my book. Even the bathroom containers were refillable rather than disposal. We felt very pampered! I enjoyed the breakfast conversation with the other guests. We had our privacy, but the owners were nearby if we had any questions!

My husband and I recently came to stay for three nights in the Bess Ray-Howell Room. It was a stunning room with huge bathroom within in a beautiful American home. We were also travelling with my aunt and uncle who live in South Carolina and chose the stunning home to use as our base while looking around Waynesville and the surrounding area. We had travelled all the way from Australia and this was the perfect Bed and Breakfast to stay in. Shell and Deb were incredibly welcoming and assisted us with finding things to do and places to eat, as well as serving up a delicious and filling breakfast everyday. I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts and this was by far my favourite B&B thanks to the fantastic hospitality and beautiful surroundings.

Room Tip: We stayed in the gorgeous Bess Ray-Howell Room which is a downstairs room. It has a shower over a cl...

Oak Hill B&B is by far is the most welcoming, cozy and relaxing place to stay. It is truly a home away from home. Shell and Deb make sure that you have everything you need. They really do make you feel as if you are their only guests. It is like no other travel experience we have ever had; no hotel comes close to their hospitality. Our room was amazing! Incredibly comfortable, very peaceful, and most importantly, extremely clean. Every morning breakfast was terrific, and it kept us going throughout the day on our adventures while we explored the area. We sat in the rocking chairs on the porch each morning sipping coffee, enjoying the view of their grounds. Admittedly, neither of us wanted to leave Oak Hill. If you are looking for a relaxing escape from the day to day rush, this is your place!

Room Tip: Each room has it's own story. We stayed in the Ella Davis Ray room and loved our accommodations...

It was a amazing experience my wife and I stayed in this WONDERFUL Bread and breakfast facility. It was our first year anniversary and between Shell and Debbie(owners and innkeepers) made this a experience that we will never forget. The House was incredible beautiful, the room was amazing overall it was the best experience EVER. I will definitely recommend Oak Hill to my family and friends. Because of this sensational experience we are making this our traditional anniversary every year!
