“Top Notch Service and a Unique Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Deb and Shell are fantastic hosts, and their service is out of this world. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it makes us not want to stay at a hotel again! We were greeted by Shell who showed us around this beautiful house. All rooms are very spacious with their own private bathrooms. The beds are amazing, all tempur-pedic with high thread count sheets...we couldn't have asked for a better nights sleep! Deb is a FANTASTIC cook. The multi-course breakfast was the best we have ever had. Deb also prepares snacks for throughout the day that are so delicious! Oak Hill is within minutes to downtown Waynesville and it is easily accessible to Asheville. There are also a ton of hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for top notch service and a unique experience. We will definitely be back!

Want to get away from the impersonal ambiance of a hotel stay? A bd and breakfast may just the ticket. My wife and I stayed at the Oak Hill B&B for several days a couple of weeks ago and I can truly say, it was one of the most pleasant times we have ever experienced during our travels. The host and hostess were absolutely wonderful, attending to all details and promoting a warm, homey experience not seen in any of our hotel stays. The highlight was gathering around the breakfast table, meeting new people from all areas of the states who have also found their way to the Oak Hill B&B and all having been there before. We made some new friends and listened to their experiences during their travels and listening to what brought them to the Oak Hill B&B as well. I absolutely recommend this wonderful getaway to anyone seeking a peaceful, friendly, and elegant retreat. Once you experience the Oak Hill B&B, you too will be returning over and over. Many thanks to the host and hostess, Shell and Deb Isenberg. We look forward to our next meeting!!!!!!

We had a pre-Christmas weekend at Oak Hill that could not have been better! After a long hike at nearby Cataloochee, we checked in, were given a thorough tour of the incredibly lovely inn, and helped ourselves to wonderful tea and cookies to help refuel after the hike. We noticed so many good things here...the well-appointed bathrooms, the beautifully-decorated bedroom with a great bed, a working fireplace en suite, the sitting room opposite, where I could read with my 5 am cup of coffee (yes, they have a Keurig coffee maker for guests). And the fabulous breakfasts - all guests asked for and received copies of the breakfast menus. Above all, the congeniality of the hosts, Deb and Shell, and the obvious enjoyment of the other guests made this stay possibly the best of any we've had at a B&B. We will be visiting again at last onc a year. Waynesville is a great destination for hiking, dining, and shopping.

The service is second to none. They went way out of their way to make resturaunt reservations for us by actually going to the restaurant. The breakfast was fantastic. The accommodations were top notch.

This is absolutely an A-1 B&B! We discovered this lovely inn last year and returned again this past weekend to spend 4 days in the NC mountains. Deb and Shell are such gracious hosts. No detail over-looked from the warm welcome to the yummy breakfasts to the chocolate turn-down bed time service. Thank-you for another great Waynesville weekend!

I have stayed here many times over the last several months and cannot praise Oak Hill on Love Lane enough! The Innkeepers take great care of their guests. The rooms are perfect (love the turndown service and chocolate on the pillow!) and the breakfast is creative, tasty and an overall excellent experience. Great job, Deb and Shell! Try Oak Hill next time you are in town - I gaurantee that you will love it. It's by far the best B&B I've ever stayed at.

Room Tip: They are all good rooms!!!

This was our second time to stay at Oak Hill. My mom and I have visited Waynesville 2 years in a row now, and each time we have stayed at Oak Hill...I can't imagine staying anywhere else! Shell and Deb are absolutely wonderful hosts. The 2 course breakfast is to die for, and don't even get me started on the "to-go" bag of muffins. It's all so filling that you can skip lunch all together. It was wonderful to come back from dinner to a turned down bed and the blinds pulled down. Oh, and the amazingly light lavender scent of the linens and towels...makes you want to crawl right into bed! As I said, we will never stay anywhere else when we visit the area...which will hopefully be next year.
