“Great Place! Great Hosts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

First of all, Waynesville is beautiful and so is the Andon-Reid B&B! The rooms are great, beautiful, clean and comfortable. Mark and Kari go out of their way to make you feel at home. They are very gracious, enthusiastic hosts, noticing small details and acting on them to make sure we had everything we wanted! We stayed six nights and didn't have the same breakfast twice, but each one was delicious! I can't wait to visit Waynesville and Mark and Kari again!

Room Tip: We stayed in the grand library, it's on the main floor so no stairs, and it's huge and very...

My mom and I stayed at Andon-Reid for two days as a "girls getaway". We are from Indiana and after our 6 hour drive we were starving! We called Mark and Kari to let them know we were on our way and they took the initiative to make us dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant, highly recommend the Sweet Onion, for our arrival! At that point we knew we were in for a treat! Upon arrival they both greeted us with open arms and helped carry our luggage in followed by a tour of the home, we immediately felt welcomed. The night we came was a snowy one so we enjoyed relaxing by the big fireplace downstairs and had hot tea. The next afternoon we went to visit The Biltmore and breakfast/coffee/juice was hot and ready before our departure! The food was fantastic because it was tasty, just the right amount, and not heavy. Our day at the Biltmore ended early because of the cold weather so we decided to head back to the bed and breakfast and spent the rest of the afternoon and evening chatting with Mark and Kari about their many adventures, having tea, and just relaxing!! It was amazing!! We were so sad to leave the next morning (we were headed to the beach and didn't want to leave if that tells you anything) but really enjoyed meeting Mark and Kari, we hope to keep in touch with them. They both heave hearts of gold! The bedroom was immaculate, the beds were SO COMFY, and the overall experience is one we will never forget. My mom and I had so many laughs and very much enjoyed the stories Mark and Kari shared about their world travels. I could go on and on forever about how wonderful this getaway was :) YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Room Tip: The Blue Ridge Room/Suite was wonderful. We enjoyed the morning sun and a night the warm fireplace w...

The wife & I stayed at Andon-Reid Inn 3/26/13. We had called to see if there were any vacancies, we were told yes. When we arrived we were welcomed immediately by Mark the innkeeper. Mark took us on a tour of the facility & were iven a choice of two different rooms.
Mark then said we were invited to join Mark & his wife Kari for desert at 8:00 pm for desert along with another couple who were staying there. The desert & fellowship was great, it was also very nice meeting the other couple who are from Chicago, they were stayig several days and were realy enjoying their stay visiting Waynesville & Ashville.
Mark and Kari are both very nice personable people, they make the stay enjoyabe.

Room Tip: I believe all rooms are nice, comfortable & quiet.

Beautiful inn in the Smoky Mountains. Owners / hosts Mark and Kerri do a fabulous job making you feel at home. Their house became our house. The Grand Library suite is spectacular with two fireplaces. Can you say Saturday afternoon nap!! We had a great time and will definitely return.

My girlfriends and I wanted a mountain getaway to celebrate birthdays. The Inn Keepers were so accommodating to all our different diets and bedding needs. The white sulfur suite was huge with a beautiful glasses in porch and a whirlpool Tim. Most rooms had refrigerators and coffee makers. 2 common areas for gathering. A full basement with pool table and TV and shuffleboard. 1 mile walk to downtown Waynesville which is full of quaint shops. Restaurants, and friendly folk. Short drive to hiking and parkway. Inn was renovated and very clean. Innkeepers are very worldly and full of good conversation.

The owners, Mark and Kari, are such sweet hosts and awesome people. Breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Rustic Chestnut. The decor makes it feel like a cute mountain lodge with the privacy of being one of a few couples in the house. The house is also super roomy with a complete activities cave downstairs. We'd love to come again!
