Stayed a few days before New Years 2012. Cherokee Casino was booked and we needed a pet
friendly hotel in the area. This place was perfect! Compare it to any La Quinta. Booked 3 rooms... all rooms were clean and easily worked for us. The place was also empty, which was surprising, since it's winter before a major holiday and Cherokee Casino was problematic &
more expensive. Pets can also be an issue with Cherokee and other area hotels. It's right off the highway with a gas/convenience store right across the street. We were within 15-20 minute drive from Cherokee Casino and also a drive up the mountains. In fact, we enjoyed driving back to the
hotel late at night and stopping for fast food outside of the casino.
Free Breakfast was standard fare...coffee, waffles, orange juice, muffins and cereals. Really couldn't find the differance with this place than any La Quinta...
I would definetly stay here than get ripped-off @ Cherokee Casino.
It's a mindset issue... we had dogs with us. I wasn't out to impress myself or anybody. The rooms were fine and breakfast was great. Everything was still within a short driving distance. The car was right there. I wasn't tipping and paying 3x the amount that i would have paid at the Casino!
Room Tip: I wouldn't book a weddding here...
