“I will return!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is a wonderful, funky little cafe. We were passing by Southport on the ICW and stopped in Southport to walk around the town. This is a beautiful southern seaport town with very friendly people. The first person we met recommended Moore Street for lunch. Love this type of place! Healthy, fresh food in a old house filled with fun antiques and artwork. We had a delicious chicken corn chowder. We will return to this restaurant next time we return to Southport!

“Small and Cozy with Excellent Homemade Sandwiches and Soups”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

This restaurant specializes in fresh, homemade sandwiches and soups. It is small but the warmth of the owner and staff make you feel so very welcomed. The sandwiches are made while you wait -- you place the order, they make the sandwich -- no fast food here. The selection of coffees and teas is also very generous -- if they don't have it, you don't need it. Many of the sandwich "stuffings" are also homemade as are the chicken and tuna salad. Cookies and brownies are also homemade. You can dine inside, on the porch and watch the traffic go by, or in the garden.

“Tiny, noisy, congested, & claustrophobic”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

There is almost no place so stand to place because it is at the the entrance hallway to the main part of the business. The front living room part has a very noisy irritating beverage cooler.

“Homemade”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

The homemade pretezels, chicken salad and pimento cheese are all very, very good. They also have good breakfasts (waffles). They are also very friendly, and it is nice how they mix in antiques/flea market stuff in their eating areas. In summary, it is a very good lunch spot, and the prices are reasonable. Give them a try.
