We recently visited this bridge after a trip to the zoo and our GPS was not originally going to get us there, but we made it. There are only 2 covered bridges left in NC and this is one of them; I was a little sad that people have to write graffiti all over the inside of the bridge. It would be nice if people could respect the history and leave it alone. If you go across the bridge there is a little path that will lead you back to the other side. It was a nice stroll. The bridge could use some repair, but it was nice to see this bit of history.
