Myself and seven friends stayed here overnight in a chalet in March 2013 as we were doing the Gingin Observatory on a Saturday night. The chalet was very clean, had all amenities you could need (kitchen, bbq, washing machine, TV, aircon, ceiling fans etc) and perfectly suited our needs for four couples (1 bedroom with QS bed, the other three with twin singles-a game of rock, paper, scissors sorts out the room arrangements!).
The location is perfect - just a couple of kms off Indian Ocean Road which makes for an easy drive and is very close to Guilderton if you want to do a bit of canoeing, swimming and relaxing. Is also close to other attractions such as Mini Golf, Honey Farm (v impressive devonshire tea) and a shortish drive into Gingin proper.
The views from the verandah overlook paddocks full of cows, ducks, a large variety of birds and the odd roo or two... very relaxing to sit and look at with a beer or a cup of tea.
Cannot speak highly enough of Mary who was extremely friendly and replied to all my emails and queries extremely promptly. We all agreed we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a different place to stay within a cooee of Perth, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Chalet A is on the end of the three chalets the furthest away from the other acommodation.
