Park well situated opposite beach and near tanker jetty (must visit sammy the seal) park is very dated but all ammenities were clean and every thing worked. We stayed on a powered site in a caravan with children play ground kept them amoused for hours would stay here again if in esperance.

Clean amenities, dryer in laundry doesnt dry (we had to go to laundromat in town theres a 24hr one near Macdonalds) large sites, plenty of room for our camper. Good that they sell National Parks Passes. There is a deli/shop at the park. Toilet/shower block was a fair walk, as the one nearest us was broken down for whole long weekend. 5/10 cheap and central

We stayed at the seafront caravan park over the Easter long weekend on a powered camping site. To be truthful it was just the 2 of us and we found the amenities to be more than ample. There were lots of families staying with well behaved kids lol it was a busy weekend! The ablution block in our area was small but spotless and the showers were hot! Nice and close to town (if you drive) we would stay here again

The only redeeming feature of the park is that it is close to town and the beach. The only shade our campsite was before sun up and after sunset. Everyone else seemed to have plenty. My son was extremely disappointed to find he could not ride his ripstick (but scooters & skateboards were OK - go figure!). We didn't have bikes so he was left with nothing to so whilst in the park as the playground was off the ark and no other kids seemed interested in playing on it either (in peak season!). The toilets really should be cleaned twice a day in peak season as more often than not they were gross. Despite this we did not let this interfere too much with our enjoyment of Esperance which was amazing!

We had an onsite van which was ok, TV, annex, and nice and tidy, parking car was cramped as was most of the park, lots of kids so ok for families, beach across the road.
A fair walk to main town site, park was just ok, we stayed 6 days but wanted to leave after 3, not so much the park, Esperance is not for us, I hadn't been for around 30 years and really from what I remember it hadn't changed a lot, a long drive for little reward, yes nice beaches but you can find the same at Albany with far more facilities.
The park needs an upgrade and not try to cram so many people in

Room Tip: We stayed in January but couldn't select Jan '11, most of the park seemed cramped so doesn...

This park is very well situated, very clean and the staff are very friendly. The overall set up of the park is a bit all over the place, the showers are very small but the temp and pressure is great. The play ground for the kids is extremely old and right next to the main road with no fence so my 3 & 5 year olds could not go on it as I thought it was too dangerous. There is a very small fence Seperating one side of the park to the other main road which is only about 2 foot high so no privacy and not very safe for little kids. I don't think this park is very suitable for people who are traveling with young children it would be better suited for the older ages.
