The Lane is a tiny cafe between Eltham Station and Main Road. It is decked out in the finest 1960s/1970s retro chic - curved stitching artwork and all. There are very few tables so space will be at a premium, but if you are lucky enough to get a place then the microscopic kitchen will create perfectly passable salads and snacks (I love the nachos). The range of drinks is great, including some interesting local breweries.
