“Ok but pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

Hubby had a barra burger, and I had a prawn wrap with chips. Wrap had cheese on it which totally overpowered the prawns ( of which there weren't many for the $18 price tag) . Chips were a bit undercooked. An ok lunch but probably wouldn't go back

“Ocean fresh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

Had two meals at Fishes, in my opinion, better choices than the pub. $18.00 Lunch, 6 large beautiful fresh prawns, salad and aioli, Fishes had two ailoi sauces to choose from which tells me they are serious about their seafood. Returned for breakfast, Eggs Benedict, I did enjoy it but expected more for the $20.90. I enjoyed the sauce, it was different and a change from the usual thick rich hollandaise sauce. One egg was poached perfectly, the other overcooked, the roasted roma tomato was a delicious addition. For the price I expected ham off the bone not paper thin generic type plastic ham. I was impressed by the choice of seafood dishes Fishes have to offer but I would have loved a prawn or crab sandwich, how about it boys?

“Great Fish and Chips”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

The fish was fresh and chips crunchy, Location is great and the staff friendly. A little over priced for what you received but that is Island prices. I would definitely go there again.

“Great location average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014 via mobile

As you stroll to the location from the wonderful views you have encountered you hope from so much supported by the signs that state the awards that have been won, but the reality is you are going to get some fairly average food with a similar style of service at a price that will match the views breath taking

“Terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

Went to this cafe for breakfast a few days ago and it cost for 2 adults and 2 children $84. I had the eggs Benedict and to say it was disgusting would be an understatement. The hollandaise sauce was melted butter, by far the worst breakfast I have ever had. Coffees were ok but expensive. Overall very disappointing won't be going there again!
