Be very careful of this hotel, they publish a dress code and change it at Managers discretion. However, the Manager refuses to discuss and hides behind really unpleasant thugs they hire as doormen. After 10pm last night they refused to let anyone in wearing dress shorts, even though their web site says DRESS SHORTS ACCEPTABLE. Tommy Hilfiger and Boss was not good enough, even though had we arrived half an hour earlier we would have been allowed in, and there were several people inside in shorts who had gained entry before 9.30 and allowed to stay, makes no sense. Eether dress shorts are acceptable or not!!!!
We are visitors from Belgium and when we rang to check the dress code were told by staff to read it on the web as they were busy. Only one of our group had dress shorts and all had closed shoes and designer clothing. Another couple arrived shortly after, he was expensively dressed and looked very nice but was also refused as he had Tommy Hilfiger knee length shorts.
The Manager refused to meet us to discuss, prefering instead to refer to 'Management discretion' and being allowed to change the dress code as they see fit. We had just driven over one hour to go there. Never again........so its interesting place to go if you want to be forced to dress nicely bevause you arrive at 10pm but mix with people who were there one hour before and are in shorts. By the way ill fitting cheap jeans and runners are acceptable, what a joke!
