“A wonderful day out.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

We had a wonderful day on the Eye Spy with Captain Kerry and her great crew. We were fortunate enough to see lots of whales, some of which swam right under the boat. The lunch is very good and generous. It is great to be able to go out and see these magnificent creatures so close to Brisbane.

“absolutely mindblowing.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

One of the most anticipated moments of my life - seeing Humpbacks wild in the ocean - and Brisbane Whale Watching did not disappoint me. Captain Kerry and her team made the experience unreal for me (as well as feeding me with lots of yummy food!) and it was a day i'll treasure forever.

“A whale of a time was had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

We have been on a few whale watching, and hands down this was the best. I suppose seeing lots of whales at play and the water as smooth as a pane of glass helps. The staff were on hand to assist with any queries in a friendly and professional manor. Captain Kerry's knowledge of the area and whales is beyond reproach, and always putting us in the best place to see these wonderful creatures. We had a truly wonderful time and would love to do it again. And the lunch provided was adequate and delicious.

“Amazing Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

My husband and two children decided to take our first whale watching experience and chose Eye Spy - Brisbane Whale Watching.

The boat is a large well appointed, comfortable with lots of viewing platforms.

We were offered sea sick tablets, but for us, it wasn't necessary and found the water relatively calm.

The staff was friendly and helpful and obviously loved their job.

The manner in which the cruise was conducted was professional - no chasing the whales, but rather allowing them to come and interact with the boat.

We were lucky enough to spot two pods of whales, which treated us to tail and fin slaps and even full rolls. At times they were so close, you could have almost reached out and touched them.

Morning tea/coffee was served with a selection of chocolate cake and carrot cake. Lunch was delicious - fresh local prawns, chicken, salads and bread rolls. Afternoon tea, fresh fruit, tea and coffee with biscuits.

Any tips? try and get there earlier to line up and go up the top to the viewing platforms, tends to get a bit crowded up there...but having said that I was at the bottom and didn't have any problems viewing...but the top platforms seemed more popular.

The children had a fantastic time and us adults did too.

Would I return again? yes!!

Thank you Captain Kerry and staff

Regards
Sylvia
