At the budget end of the market and deservedly so, but within that bracket it represents good value. The rooms are decidedly basic but adequate. Initially we were worried that noise and behaviour from the main pub would be a problem, not least as the Hinterland Hotel is a major live music venue in the area, but in fact it was fine. We didn't have a river view, which would have been nice, but the room opened onto a pleasant enough patio looking out over a reasonably kept lawn and shrubbery. Staff were all friendly and did their jobs well. Oddly, the bar only takes cash for drinks but will accept cards for meals. Satnav is pretty much essential to find the place in the maze of roads in that area but once found parking is adequate - though don't bank on being able to park outside your unit, as the pub is very popular and parking spaces get taken. Located next to a good shopping plaza with major supermarkets, bakery, coffee shop etc. Meals in the hotel were good quality standard pub grub. After the initial shock of the basic nature of the room, we grew to like the place over three nights and would happily stay there again.
