“LOVE LOVE LOVE!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

Myself and my partner stayed here for 1 night- which was not long enough!!! The location is a 5 minute walk from everything you need or want. Julie (Debbie's sister) could not do enough for us and was so kind and thoughtful! The rooms are GORGEOUS and the toilet and shower was very large with a screen glass window overlooking the back garden- perfect for nature lovers! The rooms were spotless and gave me great ideas for decorating my own home :) only thing I would say is at night the room was quiet chilly and could do with a heater. Suzi the 4legged hostess adds to the charm! Extremely great value for money! As a manager in the hospitality industry I would recommend to stay here if you're considering rainbow beach! Can not wait to return!!

What a lovely place to stay! We looked at staying in a motel round the corner and were so glad we didn't when we found this place. We stayed in the ground floor flat around the side. It was really well kept, quiet, and had a great big comfortable bed too. The well-appointed verandah kitchen was a little chilly in the evening, but lovely for breakfast. All-in-all, great value, and with free wi-fi. The hosts were really helpful and friendly, and we would definitely call them first if we are ever back in Rainbow Beach looking for somewhere to stay.

This is our first time experiencing guesthouse stay and we are not disappointed. Debbie wasn't around and her sister Julie took charge on her behalf. After a long 4+hr drive, we were pleased to see Julie expecting us (she was walking along the street with dog - "suzie too" and called us by our name while we drove pass and had wind down the window to ask for direction!)
The room was clean with cosy wooden deco and sufficiently kitchen amenities for cooking own meals. Probably we were a little conservative; the showering area was next to a transparent glass that looked out to beautiful pots of plants and flowers, but we were concerned with privacy and had to bath in darkness. Nonetheless, this makes the whole stay even more unique among others we have had! :)
Thanks to Julie who helped us book for the fraser island daytrip, we had a great & funny guide Tim and which came with fabulous steak buffet lunch.

Room Tip: Check out the bathroom in advance. Who knows, you may prefer that cosy room with showering-next-to-g...

A delightful experience Debbie has truly mastered the art of the bed and breakfast scene (even though there was no breakfast) the rooms are spotlessly clean, the service is fantastic. My wife and i have stayed twice, Debbie was kind enough to chauffeur us to and from dinner, we did not ask this was offered. She took the time to explain the area and what was available to view. What a lovely host and we will return. If you are in the area, this is the best accommodation around. No review of this property could be complete if you did not mention the four legged princess. What a delightful little person i have to admit or more to the point confess, if she goes missing she will be found in the middle of a pile of cushions in Buderim.

Room Tip: Your loss if you do not stay

A lovely, clean, relaxing oasis..... Wonderful to arrive after a long drive and meet Debbie and the watch dog who won the tug of war with the stuffed toy lol..... Thank you Debbie ..... The lesser rating for "sleep quality" relates more to my insomnia than the quality of the bed!

We pre-booked our two nights stay at Debbie's Place, from the UK, many months before embarking on our Oz trip. We arrived after a long days driving and were completely taken by the B&B, Debbie and Suzie II (pet dog). After Debbie had driven us in her jeep to the beach to take in the view, we settled in to our room, which was fantastic, cool, well furnished and very spacious. The whole B&B was spotlessly clean, with off-road parking.

On our first night, Debbie advised us to go and watch the sunset from the sand-blow, which we walked to, and which was fantastic. Also visited the sand-blow next morning, and having never seen anything like this before, we really enjoyed it. Well worth several visits to catch the sands in different lights. Supermarket, restaurant and Indian very close to B&B

The B&B is on the edge of town, which is 15 minutes walk to, where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Really like Rainbow Beach. Had a good couple of schooners in the club on the cliff next to the ships propeller (can't remember the name of the club, but very friendly and reasonably priced beer!)

On our second night we used the barbie on the veranda and had a whale of a time. Sad to leave as nothing was too much trouble. This is how all B&B's should be!

Good location on the outskirts of Rainbow Beach. Easy walk in to town. Easy to find when arriving - just turn left when you see the big red sign.

Room Tip: Any room - they are all very nice!
