“we had a whale of a time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

What a fantastic place!
It is evident that there has been a lot of recent building works at the museum.
The exhibits are great, although there is a lot of reading, interesting for adults but maybe not so much the kids. More interactive displays would be an advantage for family groups.
The story of Old Tom is fascinating. To think that orcas helped man herd whales into the bay so that they could be processed, is truly amazing. They must have been very smart.
Well done to the committee, who continue to provide a top class museum for the public.

“Very interesting, worth the visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

this place is full of interesting facts about the whaling industry from our past, there our other displays such as tuna line fishing & logging, it is worth the entry fee, it will take a good 2 hours to take in all the exhibits

“Whale Fail”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Whale skeletons were awesome, the gift shop was great. Displays were boring, too static and insufficient amount. Needs to be more interactive for children of the computer age.
