“Watching the whales during breakfast can't be topped”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

Eric and Jen are excellent hosts. Shortly after arriving, they had champagne for us as they knew I was celebrating my birthday. The place has an artistic flair, which is fun and different. Both very knowledgeable about the area and Eric has a wealth of knowledge about the local whaling industry. I have been to lots of b and bs around the world, and Jen's breakfast was one of the best, both food and presentation. The view was amazing. Location is idyllic. Definitely make this a stop between Melbourne and Sydney.

Room Tip: The views are amazing so ensure your room has a view

Arrived on a cold afternoon to the warmth of the fire in the guest lounge. The accomodation was amazing, loved the welcome drinks and nibbles, and the breakfast was superb. The B&B is within walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. Jen and Eric were wonderful hosts and gave us some great tips for things to do in the area on our short stay as well as places to stop on our onward journey through Victoria. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

It was a great room with an amazing view and plenty of space. Personal touch was fantastic and the detail, a glass of wine and fresh baked goods. Perfect for a couples week end plenty of privacy but also room to relax and chat/ Will go back.

Luxurious, hospitable and friendly. Jen and Eric are lovely and gracious hosts who took care of our every need. We made a last minute booking while driving down to Melbourne from Sydney and they were gracious and accommodating. Every detail of our comfort was taken care of and Jen was attentive, yet unobtrusive. Beds are comfortable, complete with luxurious linen, bedrooms are wonderfully warm and cosy (we were there in early Spring), impeccably clean and well decorated in a rustic/romantic style design. The location and views are incredible, Jen is an amazing chef, and Eric provided great tips on places to sight see in Eden.

What a great place - my wife and I stayed here on our way home from Tasmania. We were recommended to Snug Cove by the Eden Information Centre - and what a great place it was. Despite not booking ahead Eric and Jennifer made sure our stay was memorable - from the glass of wine and nibblies on our arrival to the sumptuous breakfast in the morning. It is obvious that Snug Cove is a purpose built B & B - everything is just right - views, rooms, decor.

Room Tip: All rooms are the same - perfect

We stayed here on our way from Sydney to Lakes Entrance. Jen (of Jen & Eric, the proprietors) recommended a drive along the ocean which was beautiful. They also gave us a very nice dinner recommendation.
The room (all the rooms are alike except for decor, all with the same wonderful view of the harbor) had everything we could possibly need, all the bath products were in a large, very clean bathroom with a large shower and a large tub (not jetted). The water was nice and hot and plenty of it, as well. There was a queen bed and two nightstands, TV (which we didn't even turn on so we don't know how many stations it gets) plus a sofa and a dresser and an armoire and two stands for our luggage. the bed was extremely comfortable. They also have an extensive library of books on the hiking and animals and history of the area.
Breakfast choice is extensive! Fruit and breads and eggs and meats. Nobody could possibly eat all that jen and Eric offer.
In the evening they gave us a glass of wine and some appetizers and we socialized with them for an hour or so; very, very pleasant.
A lovely, lovely place to stop,. We wish we could have spent several days here. Maybe sometime in the future!

Room Tip: We were in the Captain's room, but all three of the rooms are identical with the same view of th...

We stayed for one night. As we read all the good reviews we had quite high expectations but were not disappointed! Make sure you are hungry, the breakfast is excellent!
