“Full of interesting Memorabilia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

We arrived just as the house was closing. BUT, the enthusiastic volunteer allowed us to wander through - telling us to take our time. The collection of jackets, bats and other memorabilia is worth a look. You can almost feel The Don's presence. The house was originally a maternity hospital - hence the reason he was born there. Well worth a visit.

If you are a cricket lover and visitng sydney or australia, its a must see place as its belong to Sir Donald Bradman. Its 2 to 3 hours drive from Sydney. You can also visit Bradman Oval, the ground where sir Bradman used to play cricket when he was a kid. Its a treat and proud moment to be there. Dont forget to take your camera and take lot of pics.

“All time best player's birth place!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

As I am a casual Cricket player and I loved to visit Bradman's birth place. Finally I visited with my family. The museum was really good and whoever like cricket then they can come and see this museum during your trip around Wagga Wagga or Junee.

“Excellent museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2008

There is some rivalry between the NSW towns of Bowral (much closer to Sydney in the Southern Highlands) and Cootamundra (in the NSW Riverina, but like Bowral on the Main South railway line to the Victorian capital Melbourne) as to which is the town most closely associated with the legendary Australian cricketer Sir Donald Bradman.

For me, given that he was born in Cootamundra, there is no argument.

The museum cost $3 for adults, which is a most reasonable charge. Children, amazingly, are free.

It has an extensive collection of memorabillia.

The town is served by two daily Sydney - Melbourne XPT trains so it is easy to make a stopover. Highly recommended.
