this hotel is ok clean nice staff . rooms are simple balconys are small . the main problem with this hotel is that it is near on impossible to sleep at night the noise level can become unbearable . adjoining hotels seem to allow thier guests to go nuts at night and there is no let up. the food in this hotel is geared to the french and german guests so be prepered to dine out. the breakfast is fine . one other thing i would advise against marineland total rip offf. dolphins appear for 15 mins and the prices are crazy i.e small bottle of water that you can pick up in the shop for 25c will set you back 2.60. the staff at marineland are ignorant beyond belief . i tried to take a picture of my young daughter beside a dolphin staue and they went nuts , seems they take the pics and you pay . don't go near it . go to waterworld.i love lloret de mar but i find they have got very pricey all round.

rooms where ok although the walls and windows are paper thin! you can hear absolutely everything that goes on and it does not stop for a sleep! the pool was like a dirty pond and the food quite unbearable! We also experienced a electrical cut of which the hotel staff where completely thick about! all in all it was garbage! good night life tho and "hotel garbi park" is a hotel i would recomend instead.

I stayed at this hotel with my partner and 2 friends, on arrival we were a little shocked at the size of the rooms but this is only because we've all stayed in more modern hotels before. All in all this was a brilliant holiday it was a great price only £200 per person for 14nts half board, the food was quite good it did get a bit samey but it was always hot and plenty of it. as with breakfast. The rooms are quite small and basic but are kept spotlessly clean by the maids, all the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. reception was at the time always open,again friendly person. Lifts always worked never experienced any probs there was a little noise in the early hours with clubbers coming home but to be honest if it bothers you that much take a sleeping pill or dont go to lloret de mar as it is very clubby. I think we had one of the best pools with this hotel the others were in full view of passers by this was more secluded it was very clean and not cold. The resort was very busy but everybody is very friendly theres more than enough shops to keep any woman happy even those serious shopaholics. Also plenty of places to eat and drink check out the Texas bar and the Queen Vic, Texas bar does the best sunday roast in lloret de mar (thats my opinion anyway also great milky coffees). All in all hotel villa Garbi is basic but offers everything that you could want from a holiday especially if you manage to get it for as cheap as we did, would recommend and i am going again this year but sadly not to this hotel.
