Stayed for 1 week in june hotel is of a high standerd rooms are very good and comfy....
if you are expecting British style food forget it.
It is mainly catering for spanish people so I wasn't impressed with the food but it dosent mean it wasn't to everyones taste.
overall I would stay again without hesitation.

Stayed for 3 nights. The rooms were large but the noise in the hallway was a problem each night. The doors were fitted with the type of hinge / door closing device which caused them to slam when shutting. I can't understand hotels that ignore this problem.
The air conditioning never worked properly.
On a positive note the restaurant was great value. The buffet was free in the evenings. You only paid for your drinks. A litre of wine cost €4.60. The buffet had a good selection. Likewise the breakfast was decent.

f you are arriving via transfer bus, you will be dropped off at a location whereby you'll have to take a 5 min walk down the street (as the street is too narrow for coaches). This isn't a problem as the hotel is easy to find (on the right hand corner). We were given room 306, which was opposite the lift door. We were initially disappointed as we thought we would be kept awake all night with noisy residents coming back in the early hours. This wasn't the case at all, and we slept well every night. Our balcony faced the street, which could be noisy, but once the patio doors were closed, the noise was minimal. The room was standard (not as classy as some seen online), had a fridge (which was chargeable, but as we were AI, we didn't need it), and a security box (again chargeable). The shower was ok, and the bathroom was spacious enough with toiletries provided on the first day. Breakfast was served at 7:30-10:30, and there was something for all tastes (cooked breakfast - scrambled/fried/boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, potatoes etc, Fresh fruit, fruit salad, yoghurts, dried fruit, cereals, and also cheese, ham, salami, olives, tomatoes etc and toast, jams, honey. We usually stuck with the fruit drinks, tea and coffee, but occasionally we would have a glass of bubbly or bucks fizz (all free on the AI). We found lunch and dinner to be equally well provided, and especially enjoyed the salads, which we would have as a first course. As there was a great variety of fish, steak, chicken, stew on offer, with plenty of potatoes, rice, pasta and vegetables - if you want to try everything, your plate will be heaving! The staff provide your drinks at lunchtime and dinner, which I find to be a little silly really. The staff are busy, and you sometimes have to catch their attention if they are busy clearing tables. Why they just don't allow residents to help themselves to the bottled water and soft drinks machine is beyond me. We liked to sit outside for our meals, and the birds would often be around your feet waiting for some crumbs! The bar area is usually quiet, with a pool table, internet/PC's in another corner and it has a relaxing feel about it. We saw one flamenco dance show, and a young lad who played the guitar - both of whom were very good, but otherwise it was just music playing in the background. If you are looking for entertainment/loud disco music every night, then this isn't the place for you to stay. The bar staff are hard working and extremely pleasant - I cannot praise them enough, as they were always happy to chat and smile, even though they were busy, and had other chores to undertake (watering plants outside, keeping sun loungers etc). We could always get a sun lounger (which have a little "mattress" and rolled-up bath towel) up until about 9:30, but the sun doesn't get to the building until then anyway! Children are not allowed in the Jacuzzi or the outside spa (located on the decked area), which I find to be a good idea as it distracts the children from running up and down (and possibly getting hurt) on the stairs. I'm not sure if it's an adult only hotel, but there weren't a lot of children around when we were there. Overall, (except for the awful weather!) our stay at the Fergus Paris Plaza was very enjoyable. The staff take pride in their work, and we were always greeted with a welcome and a smile (especially the lady who wore glasses in the dining room!). The hotel is immaculately clean. We watched the cleaners wash down both sides of the glass balcony (with an extension handle on the outside), and having dried them, polished them until they gleamed. They then polished down the table and chairs (even the chair legs), and took their time to clean each apartment. Towels were provided and beds made on a daily basis. The rest of the hotel was also immaculately clean. I cannot fault this hotel or it's staff at all. Well done Paris Plaza!

Pros
- two sunbathing areas, one 'adults only'
- excellent food choices for lunch and dinner, bar the dessert
- friendly bar staff
- great location. Walking distance to the beach and bars.
- responsive reception staff. We complained about the lack of bar staff in the evening (1 person from 9 - 11:30pm, not good when most of the guests are all inclusive!) and there were 2 staff going forward. We were also given a free voucher for the spa to make up for it.
- decent air con in bedroom and bathroom

Cons
- adults only sunbathing area usually has some children there, the hotel should put the 'adult only' signs in Polish and German as well
- awful plastic tasting cakes on the dessert bar
- the morning and afternoon snack bar was pretty terrible, gritty hot dogs and suspiciously pink looking burgers along with left over lunch in the afternoon. The hotel would do better to provide cereal bars, bags of crisps, decent cakes/cookies and fruit.
- nowhere for all inclusive to get water/food outside of 7am - 11:30pm. We'd advise stockpiling a few water bottles from the bar in your room for overnight drinking if needed!
- steam room in the spa was not working when we went in, this spoilt our experience.
- tatty bathroom, cracked tiles etc.
- rock hard beds. I like a firm bed, but this was literally hard foam.
- annoying hairdryer that made your thumb cramp from having to hold down the 'on' button!
- restaurant staff more interested in clearing plates than providing drinks. The first couple of days no-one asked us - but this improved so I wonder if the hotel was reading the TripAdvisor reviews.
- not enough sunbeds! It was the usual scramble to get beds in the morning, but made worse by the fact the hotel was very busy and there only seemed to be about 50 sunbeds.
- you have to pay 20EUR to use the safe which is already in the wardrobe! This was a real rip off.
- the mini fridge was locked, we didn't even ask the price for the key. Again, it's in the room so why not just let people use it. Very stingy.
- VERY cold pools. We couldn't spend more than 3 mins in it.
- the noisiest aircon unit ever! Worked well as mentioned, but very loud.

Room Tip: Get a pool view - the balconies on the other side are totally uninviting. 1st floor rooms are goo...

We stayed at the hotel between 4th – 11th June. At best it was like a Premier Inn minus any heart/soul.
Firstly, please get a taxi or private transfer here. It is on the old town side so coaches can’t get anywhere near. All the road signs are in Catalan in this part of Lloret so your GCSE Spanish won’t even help you.
On arrival first impressions were good – nice looking hotel with friendly reception staff who offered us a free taster hour in the Spa during our stay, gave us the wi-fi password and very importantly didn’t bat an eyelid when I confirmed that, yes, we are two women, we are a couple and we will be sharing a double bed. On this note I should mention, the hotel is very well positioned for accessing the only gay bar we could find in Lloret!
Secondly, I am relieved we paid extra for a pool view. The hotel is crammed in amongst some not so pretty accommodation. I had something nice to look at from the sort of bland red box of a room. The bed was memory foam. The air-con was a touch wheezy. The bathroom was really good. Two mirrors. I’m not sure what every other reviewer’s obsession with a second mirror in the bedroom is. There wasn’t one though.
During the stay towels were changed daily, if you wanted them changed or not. The bed was made, but not changed. Housekeeping and the attention to detail was a little lax perhaps – the room was impeccably clean (as was the hotel) but we were treated to a drawer full of someone else’s souvenirs and two copies of “Penthouse Comix”, which for the uninitiated in a very adult comic book indeed. If you are lucky enough to stay in room 506, that treat has been left in the wardrobe, exactly where I found it.
Trying to find more positives, well, they do give you lots of little soaps. Which is useful for washing the glass in the room. You’ll be given one. Use it wisely.
Then there’s the Deutsch Teens. They accounted for 50% of the hotel guests. They were all there with Jam-Reisen. Google them. Question if you would like to share a hotel with their clientele. I didn’t mind, they were just as annoying as UK teens but better behaved – perhaps only because trying to get a drink at the bar is a test of extreme endurance. I’m sure at one point one of them began to hum Public Enemies “Harder than you think” and in this moment, I felt his pain in my own epic thirst.
Getting drunk will not happen here. They mostly retreated back to their rooms to get smashed in private opposed to dying of dehydration while being told that the sole bar staff is too busy chopping fruit to serve you.
If you are expecting entertainment, the German teens did bring a guitar or two. They serenaded us with a cover version of Avicii’s “Wake me up” in perfect Denglish. If you have to ask – the chicken nuggets are for this lot.
In the restaurant can be found a wide selection of salad and pork. If you don’t eat pork (or nuggets) you may not enjoy the food. Towards the latter half of the week beef appeared. Beware the onion rings. They contain 100% squid.
On the plus side, they can totally cater for the coeliac in your group. In the restaurant my top tip is to order all your drinks at once and pile your food high. Do not make the mistake of expecting anyone to come back and offer to take another drink order or clear your plate. It will sit in front of you while you are stared out by the waiting staff. I haven’t yet figured out what they are waiting for.
All in all, this hotel had the Discovery Channel available in multiple languages which I enjoyed, and an awful lot of avocado. It was located in Llorets old town and not in the neon tourist hell. There is also an amazing Chinese Supermarket on hand. The pool is lush and I miss the sun terrace. But whatever image “Four-Star-Spa-Hotel” creates in your mind, forget it or be wildly unimpressed.

Room Tip: Get a taxi/private transfer, the roads are too narrow for a coach. Get a high floor, pay extra for a...

Overall, our stay was ok. The hotel itself is nice, clean and modern and in a good location. However every member of staff we encountered were very rude and unattentive (unless you were Spanish). We went all inclusive, the food wasn't the best I've had but it was ok. Service very slow in the restaurant, you can't help yourself to drinks but the waiters/waitresses are not very forthcoming in offering drinks, I think about twice during our stay we were offered a drink, every other time we had to ask!
We got put in a room on the 5th floor, not a nice view from our balcony - just of the street and the apartment opposite. We were right by the lift so heard it squeak and rattle at all hours. The room was very basic and plain and to be honest a bit grubby on arrival. Could do with a mirror in the bedroom, only had one in the bathroom. The bathroom was the best bit about our room.
Not the hotels fault, but we were kept awake all night by a group of young girls who chatted and giggled so loud in the early hours it sounded like they was in the room with us. Probably because we were put so near the lift we could hear everything.
The pool area is nice, we spent most of our time in the "adults only" area above the main pool as that got the most sun during the day. Pool area clean and good sunbeds, however I got a splinter from the decking. Also good to know that the jacuzzis are always cold.
Would definitely recommend using the spa, it was 15 euros for 1 hour in there and was very lovely and relaxing. We used the gym once while we was there, well equipped and clean.
Also must add that our transfer (through Thomas cook) dropped us right up the road as the coaches cannot get down the narrow streets to the hotel, he spoke little English and gave vague directions so we ended up getting lost and had to ask for directions, worth bearing in mind especially as our transfer back home was at 5:30am and we had to find another hotel where the coach was picking us up!!

just got back from a 4 night stay *our room was clean and got clean towels everyday but was annoyed that u had to pay for the use of the fridge (which is ridiculious) , the lack of an extra mirror and coat hangers (not the most expensive items to have in a room , but all the same very handy to have)

*you couldn't have drinks to take out before 11. ( we were having to fill empty bottles of water to take to the beach)
*
Food was nice just not a lot to choose from , and not much for our vegetarian in the group .

*was very disappointed with the lack of entertainment in the hotel ..far to quiet no atmosphere !!! Until the following day due to the hotel being filmed we suddenly had back ground music , and two people behind the bar and mattresses on the sun loungers ,which disappeared once filming had finished

*staff were lovely

*we are a friendly group who enjoy a giggle but the lack of sound within the hotel made us sound louder than we normally would, so kind of restricted our enjoyment of our holiday , due to having to sit inside before 12pm and talking quietly in reception ..

*didnt agree with the all inclusive expiring at 11 on your last day .. We wasnt flying until 7.50pm so had to pay to keep the bands on.
