“A decent hotel, not 4 stars, but worth the money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

Don't expect a 4 star hotel! This is not the case. However, rooms are spacious, relatively clean and furniture looks nice. But it needs some repairing here and there, the walls are scratched etc. The cleaning is awful! We dropped a bottle of juice on our first day on the floor, and some of it spilled. The spot was there after A WEEK! Nobody cleaned it. They just make your bed and that's it. Apart from that, the hotel is ok. Given the fact that there are several special offers and you can stay there with 400-500 eur/week with half board, it is worth the money. The food is good, there is variety. Pay attention to where you park your car! We parked inside the hotel's private parking and we found it scratched!
Location is perfect from my point of view, in the heart of Lloret, with 5 min walk to the beach.
Best regards to Dani, the receptionist, who is the best and went over his head to help us with anything we asked!

We are just back from a weeks stay in the Astoria Park Hotel and we had a really good time there. We are a family of 7 (2 adults, 5 children) and we were put into two adjoining rooms. The rooms were very clean and the en-suite was very big with a nice big shower. The breakfast was fantastic. Buffet breakfast as much as you want and including champagne. The little ones loved the breakfast, particularly the crepe with chocolate sauce. The evening meal, optional, is also a buffet and very good. Chicken, different meats, various fish, pasta, rice, fruits and a lot of different types of deserts. Again we all loved it. We had the evening meal 3 of the 7 nights and is priced very reasonably and great value for money. The hotel has a small pool on the roof (7th Floor) and sauna, steam room and 2 jacuzzis. We all went to the roof most evenings and just went for swim and lazed around the jacuzzi and steam room. Very relaxing. The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the shopping is just around the corner, so it is in a very good location. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face. Making a crepe at breakfast for the little ones or a fried egg for us was never a problem for the young chef working at the hot food section. In particular Dana and Mame were very friendly and helpful to us and went out of their way to make our stay better. From making sure that we got two adjoining rooms to helping me print my return flight boarding passes. If we go back to Lloret de Mar, we will definitely be staying in the Astoria Park, because of the friendly staff, the spacious rooms, the perfect location, the great food and the value for money. This is an excellent hotel and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good hotel to stay in Lloret de Mar.

Room Tip: If you have a big family and need 2 rooms, just ask as they have 3 adjoining rooms. We stayed in 310...

Pros:
- Very good central location. Easy walk to beach (specially to Fenals beach).
- Very nice, happy and helpful personal.
- Delicious food and good choice.
- Jacuzzi, saunas and swimming pool on the roof.

Negatives:
- Pets allowed policy is kind of disturbing for other guests if the walls are rather thin. We could hear next door neighbour's dog barking every morning and upstairs neighbour playing probably golf at nights (or that's what we figured out).

We stayed there 4 nights and moved on then to La Palmera hotel, which looks better, but room walls are more thinner and also we found the service and food to be not as good as in Astoria.

Room Tip: I think this hotel suits for more young people, as its close to bars and discos. If you seek peace a...

Stayed a week in Astoria park hotel in August. Hotel is very nice and in a an excelelnt location. Staff are friendly and very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Stayed on half board basis, food is very good and choice is extensive. Hotel is also very clean.

Room Tip: Choose a room on one of the upper floors if you would like to avoid the noise from the bars and disc...

On recommendation, we chose this hotel for 8 nights and it was a good choice. Since the beginning of the booking has been excellent communication with the hotel and then then everything went as smoothly as the transfer to the hotel and the check-in. The staff was very helpful, smiling and friendly. Help, advice in everything. Our location is very good, nightlife is sure to be welcomed especially young people ...
We booked a family room, was enough for us 4 people. The room is on the first Although the floor at night was a bit busy otherwise was very comfortable ..... The room has a spa tub, but we did not have the opportunity to try the hotel are swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna on the rooftop of us took up all my time ...
Meals in the hotel was excellent with many dishes, we had full board buffet every day and have other foods. We did not know what to pick up, because everything looked very tasty and interesting. One recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side are quieter

I went in Lloret de Mar in vacation with my parents. We stayed there for 9 days; we arrived at night so our first impression wasn't great, because the streets were full of noisy teenagers. The next days were much better; the beach is ok, the sea water is colder than other places, but you get used to it (the sea water is about 21 degrees)there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops open until late and the town is always animated. We stayed at Astoria Park hotel, situated in the center of the town. The personnel was great, we even made friends here, Dani & Cristiana, who were very helpful, kind and friendly; the food was ok and the rooms were cleaned every day. The hotel has also a pool, two saunas and two jacuzzis on the roof. The wi-fi signal in the rooms is poor, but you can find there a lot of other activities. To sum up, it's a great place to relax and have fun:)
