“Our Stay in the Beautiful Trapani Area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012

We took Ryan Air to Trapani and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves by visiting the Mountain Top City and the Islands. (And, of course the City of Trapani.) Our Host Vito was full of information and our room was very clean and kept up. I would recommend a visit to this area, many different things to do. I would definitely come back to Casa Trapani B&B. If you would like to see a video of our visit, go to YouTube and search Olehere1. We had a great time!

The only negative is making sure that you know that the arrival airport is called two different names - we were very confused because people call it by both: Ryan Air arrives at the Trapani Airport but many of the locals call it Briggi Airport. It is one in the same!! Catch the bus that says either Aeroporte name and you will get to the right one.

Vito was waiting for us and very helpful.
We stayed in a apartment with fully equiped kitchen (but who wants to cook when in Sicily?!) with 2 seperate and small beds. Everything was clean and the apartment is cleaned every 2 days. Everything looked fairly new. Happy with the bathroom cleanliness.Breakfast is served in a little pasticceria which we fully enjoyed, very charming. Nice people!

Extremely well run, well equipped, clean and quiet. Range of rooms, and our apartment was spacious but lacked natural light. In heart of modern Trapani, 20 mins walk or frequent buses to historical centre. Friendly, helpful and efficient owners.

good room, nice english speaking owners, not the real sicilian feeling but good for a night stay
free parking only a few blocks away
i would not call it a B&B because breakfast is not served at your room and is quit limited

We stayed here one night, while traveling through Sicily. We had a large room with separate full kitchen. Our friends had to share their kitchen with others. Parking was on the street and not free near the B and B. No breakfast on the premises. We had to walk to a small cafe and only got a coffee and croissant. The location was OK for the area.

Room Tip: Stay on first floor to avoid walking up the step with your luggage.

Convenient for Trapani airport and city sightseeing though not central. Clean and adequate for an overnight stay but not much light as window opened out onto courtyard stairs so would not have wanted to stay more than one night. Was more of a room to let than a B&B as we were given a voucher to claim breakfast at a nearby bar.

Me and my girlfriend went down to Trapani on September 5 for a week in the sun with sun and sea. We had booked an apartment at CasaTrapani B & B We had booked a shuttle directly from the hotel owner Vito from Trapani airport. Sure enough there stood an elderly man holding a sign with my name. He was very helpful and took our bags to the car. After about 20 minutes we arrived at the hotel owner stood and greeted us and guided us to our apartment. It was very fresh and pleasant with a kitchen, dining room, large bedroom and a bathroom that had a washing machine. Vito who owned the hotel showed us how the air conditioner, gas stove and all other facilites worked. He was very nice and drew up on a local map where all the important places were the police, hospitals, banks, and shops. After that he tipped us on the beaches, attractions, restaurants, cafes and bars in Trapani vicinity. Casa Trapani B & B was well placed in Trapani, 5 minutes to the beach about 10 minutes to the old town with all the alleys and cozy places like restaurants, shops. Museums and old buildings. Nearby CasaTrapani found the main promenade with shops of all kinds. You could easily walk up to the cable car leading up to the medieval town of Erice, it took about 20 minutes. Vito was very service minded as soon as you had some questions and took the time to help us. We had a very good week in Sicilia thanks to all the nice people and the proffesional personel at the Casatrapani B&B. When we left the hotel with the nice man in the shuttle were we very pleased with an fantastic week at Sicilia. We can really recommend CasaTrapani B & Bs to suit all who wish a quiet, comfortable and clean accommodation in a central location. Both families, couples and single travelers as there are single rooms and apartments. We do not think you will be disappointed
