“Great location, Spotlessly clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

Great location for walking the old city.
Very friendly reception staff with lots of information about parking, ferries, etc.
Elevator goes to the 3rd floor, but our accommodation was on the 4th floor. U shaped narrow stairway to upper floor. Elevator is for ‘freight’ and very slow, but do-able.
Our unit had basic kitchen area – sink, two burner cooktop, microwave, under-the-counter refrig and basic utensils – perfect for our needs. Obviously recently redone and very clean.
Bath had small shower (no tub), toilet, bidet and sink. Again, obviously recently redone and very clean.
Bedroom has double bed, wardrobe, two night stands and air conditioning unit powerful enough to cool the whole place . Again, very clean.
Sitting room had one overstuffed chair, small table, two chairs. Again, very clean.
Best feature is the balcony with small table and two chairs facing the water. Delightful!
Tile floor throughout. Larger rooftop area available for all units to use. Electricity is key controlled. Keys for front door when desk is not staffed. Free wi-fi. Wine available for purchase. You’re expected to do up your own dishes.
Overall, this place is well located, very clean and well appointed.
Would stay here again.

The staff were extremely friendly & very helpful - the taxi they arranged to take us back to the airport was cheaper than the one we got from the airport. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom modern. The roof terrace was lovely. This hotel is situated in a lovely old building near shops & restaurants but in a quiet area - we were not disturbed by traffic noise. Stayed for 3 nights & ate out all the time so did not use the kitchen area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very stylish and bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Good airconditioning. Great location as we arrived by bus from Palermo & went by bus to Trapani airport & bus station only short walk away. Good local restaurants and shopping. We only stayed one night but would definately stay here again.

Staff here were great- very helpful and friendly, and offered little extras like whipping up a coffee for us without us asking, and offered gelato for our young son. Hotel is in a good position also. The lobby provides a feeling of traditional charm. This however is completely completely out of kilter with the rooms, which are a bit characterless. A sort of upmarket Premier Inn. The sea view was only visible by a life-risking lean out of the window - better than nothing, but don't let it sway your decision. The beds were not very comfortable either, and the main double had a sharp wooden surround that really threatens your shins. Great bathroom though - stylish and it works. The hotel was pricier than a lot of others. Finally, the lift was glacially slow. Can't think that i have seen a slower one!

For those with small kids, we didn't think it was great. The balconies/balcony doors didn't look child proof, and the hot plate stayed hot for ages after use, and was in easy reach of small hands. Lots of sharp corners too.

Room Tip: Make sure you don't get the room odd the lobby. Room 1 I think. It could only be a terrible expe...

Although staff were pleasant and prompt when I arrived, the apartment was disappointing. I was under the impression I would have a balcony as described. Instead, I had a studio literally right next to the front door on the first floor. I had to deal with the noise of late guests and street traffic. No bars on the exterior, so I could not have the window open for security reasons. Air conditioning did not work, nor did the remote for the TV. By the time I discovered this, the staff had already left for the evening. They did remedy the remote control issue the next day (batteries were dead) but the air conditioning was still inop. I was fortunate that I only booked and paid for two nights.

The appartment was modern and clean and fully equiped to enjoy our stay. We were 4 people and had 1 sofa bed and 1 separate bedroom, a bathroom with rainshower, free Wifi and 2 flatscreen tv's. Upon arrival they give you the information you need to get acquainted with the town before you set off.We were here for 4 nights and did all by public transportation, it is feasable but afterwards we did regret not to have rented a car to explore the area. Public transportation is not always that reliable. For breakfast we went to the Cafe del Corso on the via vittorio emanuele, easy reachable from the appartment location. The busstop for the airport is only round the corner so very easy and also the boat to the Egadi islands is on the same spot. We were very surprised by Trapani and this is an area where we surely will be back.

Room Tip: we had a room on the 1st floor and in the morning there is some noice from the birds , and people wa...

We had a very nice stay! When booking we planed to stay two-three nights but it became eight nights. The recidence is nicely located and have a lovely terrace. The room we hade was clean, the bed was good and kitchen fully equiped. The staff is very helpful and kindly. Many thanks to beatiful Ofelia and Vanezza! If we come back to Sicily (wich we hope!) we definitely will stay in this recidence once again!
