“A delightful top hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2014

In the first instance stayed for 3 nights in a superior triple room. Delightful room, very roomy. The staff were delightful and went the extra mile to be as helpful as they could - and more. The terrace is delightful with amazing views. There was a lovely terrace for sunbathing too. We loved it so much we returned for another 2 nights at the end of our stay in Sicily. We had an even more roomier room, the Junior Suite. This hotel is exceptionally clean and in a quiet and great location with a lovely view of the sea. Would highly recommend

Room Tip: An excellent triple room no 303 and also room 206 which was a very spacious Junior suite overlooking...

This place is tip top! A converted wharf side dwelling tastefully renovated with style. The bathroom sink in particular was made from the most beautiful green stone! The roof top bar has wonderful views across the sea and serves a gorgeous glass of chilled wine! Mmmmm... There is a glass topped well by the ground floor elevator so you can see the tide coming in. The location is perfect to walk around in the evening and try the stylish restaurants of Trapani. During the day you can get easily to the ferries to take you to the Egadi islands. The pastries around here are mouth watering. The only slight negative is the parking situation. We raced around trying to find 12euros for the day rate parking on the street next to the hotel which was stressful but actually the reception desk keeps coins so just ask for the change from them. There is free parking down the road but we thought it was a bit too far away. Also, we were rather rail-roaded into taking the hydro-foil to Egadi but in retrospect would have preferred to book a seat on a boat that does the touring for you as a whole inclusive day trip. So check out fully what's available on the port side.

Room Tip: Perhaps choose a room high up as sometimes there are street events down below the hotel and if you a...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Tophotel right in the center with a sunroof and a lovely view on the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff who speak English very well. Big rooms, very clean. It has a great design and is set right in the quiet part of the center. Some minor issues are that you have to pay extra for breakfast, daily cleaning and parking.

Very clean and quiet. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Staff very helpful. Even walked us to the ATM to explain how it worked....slide your card across to enter the door! Evening drinks on the terrace very pleasant. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor or spend more for a sea view.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town, right next to the sea. The room was very pleasant and clean but it would have been lovely to have had a sea view room and a balcony we could sit on.The hotel itself was very nice with a boutique feel (i really liked the Sicilian tiles which were on the ceiling) and the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Antonino who we checked in with. Breakfast was lovely on the roof terrace. We would definitely recommend.

They've done a nice job restoring this historic building into a boutique hotel overlooking the water. The room was very comfortable and luxurious and there was even a gym downstairs. You'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer hotel in Trapani...

My wife and I stayed here two nights on our tour of Sicily. It was the best of the six hotels we stayed at--and most were very good. Our fourth floor room had an outside deck overlooking the harbor, a separate kitchen area with appliances, a sitting are as well as a VERY comfortable bed in a separate, spacious bedroom. We we're only steps from the breakfast area with its typical sumptuous Italian breakfasts and late afternoon happy hour. The location is excellent--just steps from the old town and midway between Erice and Mozia--two major area sights. It's also near the Donnafugata winery which offers tours and the best wine in Sicily.

Room Tip: As k for the top, fourth floor room with deck.
