“Brilliant Location and Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2014

The sea view apartment was excellent both in terms of facilities and view plus the added pleasure of being able to listen to the sea.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Its location on a pedestrian street which has lots of shops/bars and cafes is great and leads to other main, old town streets with restaurants and more shops. One point to note is that the address of the building is 25 Via Garibaldi ( Numbers on buildings) with the apartments on the 5th floor named as 31 Garibaldi.
The staff (Maria and Christina) were very good and attentive. Maria gave excellent advice in terms of restaurants and also travel arrangements.
Trapani is a great working fishing port with some lovely architecture, food and wine. We had two lovely meals at Le Mura overlooking the sea. Also wine bar opposite Al Lumi (B&B bar and restaurant) on main street was brilliant serving their own wine.
The fish market was amazing as was a trip to Eriche.
We do not normally return to places after visiting but we will definitely return to both Trapani and Garibaldi31.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking street may be noisy as bars are busy

It's a very cozy, modern furnished appartment with the greatest pros being the marvelous view of the sea and always a sound of the waves. A perfect therapy you get in addition to renting the appartment.

The appartment is in very good location in the old center, easy to access, pleasant to stay in. Room for 4 was spacious, room for 3 much smaller.

Pros: Marvelous view and sound of the sea
excellent location
the appartments in cleaned every day
very pleasant interior
you find all you might need - even books to read, iron for your clothes, hair fan, WC, bidet, perfect shower with always hot water, kitchen to make yourself tea or simple food
Hostess very positive - she let us stay in the room on the day of check out as long as we needed as we had a late afternoon flight

Cons: if you are planing to cook all the time for you and your family, you might be lacking some comfort and dishes, equipment in the kitchen
they should really put some washing liquid, sponges and kitchen towels to clean for yourself
Teapot or electric kettle would be perfect, as well as sharp knives
They should really fix their WiFi setting as it was connecting, disconnecting all the time on some devices and not working at all on other devices (and the weather had nothing to do with it).
The main bed was comfortable, but the extra sofa bed was not - you can feel the springs everywhere. Would be fine to sleep just for kids as with light weight they won't really feel it. They should put an extra mattress on it.

Yes, would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room!

Very nice place with great see view. Hotel is placed in down town. A lot of good bars and restaurants are near. Everything was OK. We had only a problem with parking

In the middle of Trapani, we at last found our "hotel". It has no reception, but I called Antonella, like booking.com had told me to. She was there when we arrived and helped us in, and to our apartment. Nice apartments with sea view. Clean and tidy. Nearby are many shops, restaurants, parking lot, ++. Easy to have rental car and park nearby. Close distance to Erice.
the bed was ok, but the sofa-bed was not a comfortable bed.

No activites for kids.

Here you get a great location right in the middle of it. Via garibalidi is the passegiata in Trapani. Loads of good restaurants and bars and ofcourse people just walking by. 10 minuties from the nice city beach. The rooms are big and very moderna. But as always the utilities are in very poor condition. Not enough spoons och forks and no knife to cut bread. As an example.
You can get rooms with a nice sea view. If you get a room towards the Via garibaldi be prepared for loud noice. Just by the entrance ther is a bar that plays VERY LOUD music until 3 o clock in the morning och weekends. Bring earplugs or join the fun.
The receptionist can arrange transport from the airport for 30 E one way for four persons. Good if you arrive late. They clame to have free Wi Fi int the room but that did not work.

Room Tip: Room with sea view are more quiete

This is a great, clean and centrally located place to stay in Trapani.
The place is located on one of the main thoroughfares of the historic center of Trapani, close to restaurants and bars and wonderfully placed for exploring Trapani and neighoring locations and especially for the evening passegiata. The port and ferries are bout a 10-15 min walk away.
The staff were helpful and efficient throughout and were always on hand.
The room itself is actually a small apartment - complete with a small kitchen so perfect for couples or individuals who would like to make their own food. There is a TV, air con. and the furnishings are modern and tasteful. The bed is comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. We stayed in the room on the ground floor with its own courtyard, complete with tables and chairs, which was lovely, tranquil and very quiet.
Breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking the via garibaldi and while not extensive is absolutely fine.
We were very impressed with the accommodation and would recommend this. Excellent value for money.

Room Tip: avoid rooms on via garibaldi - there is a suite with its own courtyard which is lovely.
