I stayed at the Sayaji for 5 days and when I left I wrote a letter to the management and said that the staff had treated me like family. Good Indian hotels have very well trained staff, and this is certainly a good example. In particular, the woman who heads up the staff for advice to business travelers was particularly helpful in helping me advertise and set up business meetings at the Sayaji. In addition to nice rooms to rent for meetings, they have 3 restaurants. One of them is poolside, where they serve fresh-off-the-grill kabobs, meat or veggie, every night, with live Indian music. The kids have a place downstairs with motorcycle video rides, a bowling alley, a pizza place, a bakery, a chinese food place, pool tables, and electric bumper cars. The prices are excellent for this category of service. Computer with free broadband in every room, plus wi-fi hotspot in the lobby. The local businesspeople frequent this hotel, the best site -- though there are other good sites, like the nearby Fortune Landmark -- for business meetings. A very safe place to bring a family; a very prestigious place for business gatherings.
